I’ve reached my 30’s and have just got over adult acne!! I’m now struggling with large pores, I have normal skin, neither dry nor greasy, This can be quite drying so be careful with that, I use a stippling brush to push it into my pores (sounds gross I know) then use my finger to really press it in and blend it, it works. I find it makes my foundation peel off around my nose area so I avoid putting it there. I haven’t yet found a primer that actually fills in pores like this one does, I then use a powder and puff to set it And it really gives me a flawless finish
I have good skin, mature skin. I love primer and it want it to be light and soft. i've been using this for a few weeks and it doesn't disappoint. it's featherweight, foundation looks great all day, what more could you ask for.
I’ve tried everything from e.l.f. to Smashbox primers and this is, by far, my favorite. I’m lucky; I’m 42 years old and have nary a wrinkle, but what I do have are pores...very visible pores. My tip to others having issues is to dab this on, like press it into the specific areas, then take another layer and swipe it over that pressed-in layer. For me, it’s magic. I don’t wear foundation (except for special occasions), but I do wear concealer under my eyes and for areas of hyperpigmentation and I don’t have any issues...at least not any more than I’ve had with any other product I’ve tried.
For those commenting on the thick, silicone feel, for me, that’s what works to really fill in those pores (possibly application process?). I’ve also been advised by a makeup artist that, when you have a troublesome zit you’re trying to cover, this is exactly the type of thing you want to use to create a solid base before applying a cream concealer. I tried it and it totally worked (concealer type is also key on this one, as is application since you don’t ever want to put too much on and look like one could carve their initials into your face).
Bottom line: everyone’s skin is different, but this is the best thing I’ve found so far and, for under $12, it may be on the higher end
