The color for Ring Bare-er is just not there. You have to put on 4-5 coats to get it to not be see through. I’ve had it on for over a week and no chips, so that’s good, but I’m disappointed with the lack of color.
It was more Oscar the grouch green than expected, and it took several coats to keep it from looking streaked. With the use of coupons I got it for $1.29, so I’m not terrible upset, but I would not pay full price for that.

I really like OPI nail polishes whether I buy it myself or have a manicure done with OPI polish in a salon. They seem to last long enough. The brush shape works well with my nails. The smell like other polishes is pretty strong, so make sure you're in a well ventilated area when applying it. I recently got the color "A Rose at Dawn Broke by Noon." It's quite a shiny pink that works well on toes. I tried it on my fingernails and it looks a bit too juvenile. There are two shimmery shades that are very easy to apply. My current favorite color from Target is "Worth a Pretty Penne." It's kind of a shimmery (tiny glitter) copper beige. It's really easy to apply and requires no skills. I use one coat without a base coat or top coat most of the time. "Cozu-melted in the Sun" is the other shimmery (tiny glitter) shade that is great for people like me who can't paint nails well. It's a shimmery beige-pink color. Make sure you tighten the cap really well to keep it from drying out. I never finish a bottle though because they start to thicken too much after a while.
