These are gorgeous, modern chairs -- but they've scared me away from buying cane chairs from Target ever again, because the cane comes loose so easily. My husband and I don't have children and sit on our dining bench as our "regular seating", so they only really saw use when we had guests; but the backing still came loose with less than 2 years of use. I'm not sure if it's due to the poor materials or construction, but I would recommend against purchasing these chairs if you plan on leaning back on them. The positive is that the cushion is sturdy and maintains its shape and comfort.

Don't get fooled by the influencer on social mídia, everything looks perfect at their house. Plus they get sponsored by brands, so they don't get to paid for the the stuff like this chair that I bought and it came already damaged and I can't returned. This is so frustrating the back cane part it's all loose, literally not even couple of months used and again some of the them came already damaged...... don't buy this chair. Unless you are buying not to use it 🤷🏽♀️. I try contacting Studio McGee of course I can't get ahold of anyone to try to help me.

The quality is just not there. It would be fine BUT the caning breaks VERY easily. We’ve had the chairs for a year but we don’t sit in them. Honestly we used them 4 times maybe and 2 of the chairs have torn caning. It’s extremely disappointing. I’d get new ones if we weren’t starting a family with little kids. These will be our messy chairs until their older.

The chair has a nice design. Like others have said it’s a nice dupe for more expensive chairs. However, when I pulled the chair out the color of the “plywood” is a very warm yellow which I was hoping was softer. The worst part of the whole thing was pulling out the cushion part and finding out it has light Grey upholstery!! The pictures don’t really show how grey it is. And when I read the product details it mentions a cream upholstery cushion. Not sure who thought grey compliments yellow tones wood?!?! I am so disappointed. I am sadly going to return these. Plus all the reviews about the cane coming undone makes me not want to keep these. I was so looking forward to adding these to my dinning room.

I love the look of the chairs. I’ve had 4 for over a year and have already had to replace 2 because the caning comes apart so easily. I would have 2 more chairs that look terrible because the caning is coming off but can’t return them since it’s been a year. They are really comfortable, but the caning is very cheaply made and attached to the chair. It’s so disappointing, I love the look of the chairs.

I am only giving 2 stars because of the look of the chair, which is very beautiful, but these chairs are pretty until you put them to use… horrible quality of the cane ! They start to fall apart within few weeks ! I would sell them if i could ! They should be discontinued! Or people who don’t use their dining chairs at all, can buy them, coz they look pretty !

Obsessed with the way these chairs looked but after just a few months of once/day use the cane backing started to separate. Now a year later it’s completely destroyed and unusable. Don’t buy if you plan to actually sit back against the chair.

Beautiful chair! For $150, the quality is great. It’s pretty heavy, and the cushion is really thick. The cane backing is perfect with no snags, and the fabric looks expensive. Assembly was straight forward and only took a few minutes. I bought one to see if I like it, and will be ordering five more for my dining table.

These are beautiful in person, but incredibly firm. Two of the four that I ordered had damaged parts and had to be replaced. Overall, awesome dupe to higher end designs for a fraction of the cost. Customer service was great, but it was time consuming to resolve.
