Description
Keep your child's schedule on track with the Joy Octopus Kids Habit Tracking Watch. The comfortable silicone band is adjustable to fit your child's wrist as they grow. This watch vibrates and the screen lights up with a variety of icon options, notifying your child of upcoming events and reminding them to do a variety of activities, like brush their teeth, feed pets or get ready for bed. The free app makes it easy to program your child's schedule and send notifications straight to their watch to help structure their day.
I bought one for myself, actually. There are no smart watches that are simply for reminders. It's been very helpful and appreciate it very much. I would recommend/request two things to the creators. 1. add an option for a continuous vibration: you have people buying these to help manage neurological disorders like adhd. Thankfully the vibration is periodic for 5 minutes, but for someone with adhd they really need it to to vibrate and not stop until they have acknowledged it. On that note, add the details about how the vibrations functions in the description. I had to guess and hope I wouldn't have to return it because I really needed the vibration to actually get my attention. 2. create an adult version, advertise for adult time management and keep it affordable. There is nothing that works quite like this and anything that comes close is unreasonably expensive (and doesn't function as well).
I bought the watch as part of the intial funding group, and after multiple delays was extremely disappointed in the quality and functionality of the watches. I think both of them broke within one week. I wouldn’t waste your money.
We bought it for our 5 year old daughter. We like it so far! It's easy to set up. Links right to my iphone. I can change the tasks very easily. My daughter does have a hard time pressing the button though to clear the task. But it has helped her out already.
Until it broke after few days, I loved this watch. It worked as intended and helped my son with helpful reminders. But, after one day, the face fell off. It worked fine after we reattached the face but, after use by a normal five year old for three days total, it stopped working all together. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear so we're out $50. For a product meant to be used by young children, you think the company would have invested in a more robust design. The idea is there but not the quality.
Very bad product, scrath in two days and fell apart in one month of ocazional wear. My son liked it for few days after that he had no interest in it. The band is pretty short, barely fit my 6 y o.
I purchased this watch for my 13 year old son w autism. He needs a watch to sound alarms for him. This watch only vibrates- they responded this was to me discreet during school hours. I thought there would be an option to sound alarms on this alarm watch. Great idea- bad design.
