Ogio is a leader in marketing and supplying the Powersports industry with performance gear comprised of bags, packs, ramps, stands and other accessories. OGIO’s focus on innovative products is paralleled with the finest quality construction using premium materials that have been rigorously tested against blowouts, abrasion, color fading.
Our most fully loaded mid-size pack has a home for all the things you carry with you everyday to work or school, and enough room for a little extra on the weekends or on a trip.
Design Pillars Durability: Built with a 600D polyester body, a 1200D polyester base, and sturdy construction, this bag is built to last. Organization: With a dedicated laptop sleeve, extra external and internal organization, and water bottle pocket, all of your things are quickly accounted for and accessed.
Pro: Excellent looking backpack and great quality. Nice padding, straps and the water bottle holder is a great feature. Cons: Outside pockets VERY small. Also pockets on the top back of the pack have awkward zippers that cause things to fall out after you open the pockets. I would have liked to see all of the pockets be bigger and better zipper locations. Overall good pack, but there are better for same price out there.
Great template but additional storage and features would have made it amazing.

My friend showed me the Alpha Convoy 320 and I was extremely impressed. I've been needing a new pack and wanted to study what Ogio had to offer. The Alpha Recon 420 immediately caught my eye due to the large front compartments/ modular sections on the front of the bag. The bag has other great aspects such as the padded laptop sleeve and compression straps around the bag, however, if Ogio had simply added or considered some features from the 320, this bag would be outstanding. I do like: This bag is QUALITY, with strong polyester all around and clean stitching, no part of the bag feels thrown together, very sturdy build I really like the way the pockets are mapped out on the bag's front, and with some interior division, they could be even better I love the compression straps, specifically on the bottom of the bag so that your things do not sag in the bottom of the bag and wear it down faster, they help distribute the load The bag has a handle on the top and side, making it easy to grab from any area The luggage pass-through is simple but works I enjoy the reflective elements all throughout the bag but wish some were included on the bottom compression straps, like the 320 I also appreciate the small plastic loops that help slim down the excess strap when you tighten them I don't like: First off, while there are some inside pouches and a zippered "sleeve" inside, there is no dedicated pen/ pencil or other small item organization area. The picture shows the pens on the outside pocket ? But that pocket in reality is pretty loose and I wouldn't store my pens, led alone my passport in there. Some smaller division within the bigger pockets could greatly enhance this bag's effectiveness. What is not spacious however is the water bottle sleeve. While I like the idea of a cloth sleeve, it seems like this one was designed with disposable plastic bottles in mind. You could maybe fit a skinny hydro-flask in as well but no chance on anything bigger than that. I use a CamelBak Chute and that barely fits in. Just a bit more slack on that pocket would improve it a lot, also add a ventilation hole like on the 320 possibly. Also coming standard on most of Ogio's bags is a chest strap to help further secure the bag. However unlike the 320, this one is secured in a different manner so that it is close to impossible to take off, I ended up cutting parts of mine to help get it off. Just make it removable like the 320. These items above by no means make this bag unusable but the addition of some of them, namely the bigger bottle sleeve and internal organizer, would cement this bag next to the 320 with a top-tier Ogio edc. I still love the bag and will get all the mileage I can out of it. I just felt compelled to write a review since I could. not find a single one online anywhere. Thanks for reading!
The quality of this backpack is impressive. The multiple pockets help keep me organized when I need to take my office with me. This backpack was big enough for me to pack away my work things and everything I needed for a weekend trip!
We just got home from a two week long road trip with this backpack. We like the color and the endless amounts of pockets. It makes it so much easier to store things. The laptop pocket feels extra protected, which is especially nice for traveling. There are some straps and pockets that seem a little out of place and the overall length of the pack feels a bit long. It just seemed to take over my entire backside (I'm 5'7"). It wasn't uncomfortable, but just felt a little off. However, considering how much we could store in this AND still be organized, we'd recommend it to others!
My husband's favorite back pack so far, design is very stylish goes well with casual or semi casual. Holding lap top and books really well, comfy is bonus. Highly recommend. Reviewed for exchange of item.
I have used this backpack on numerous occasions to carry my laptop among other things up a hill to get to my classes. The straps provided cushion and the backpack held the contents well without feeling weighted down. I like the there is a separate compartment for laptops and has various pockets and zippers to hold other material.
It's not the most fashionable backpack, but very versatile and has tons of storage. There are a ton of different pockets, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on if you can remember where you put stuff. It does have bottle holders on the side, but it would only fit a small plastic water bottle, which I don't really care for. I don't even think a pop or reusable water bottle would be able to fit as it is a fixed pocket. It looks like it is really durable, but only time will tell. My laptop fits perfectly in the big pocket and it has a lot of padding so it will stay protected. I think this will be a great backpack for my family in the long run!
So I've had this bag for a bit now and can say, I love it.. I love that it's got room for a laptop and still space for everything else you need in life. Love that it's got such supportive padding for the shoulders! My favorite thing about it though is ALL THE POCKETS. I can store everything I need in different Pockets so I'm not needing to dig through everything to find the one item I need (y'all know the deal. Traditional one pocket bags, your pen falls to the bottom and you have to dig to find it) this is definitely an a+ in my Book.
