With this stone, you can make delicious pizza in your own home that tastes like it came from a local pizzeria. This stone can be used to bake fresh or frozen pizza. It can also be used to perfectly cook bread, rolls, and biscuits by evenly distributing heat through the stone.
It broke while baking my second pizza.
Made little ten or eleven inch crust. Put sauce and cheese and pepperoni. Had the oven warmed to 525 F.. Slid the pizza on. Set the timer for ten minutes. When I opened the door I see a broken stone. WHAT A BUMMER! Brand new. My first pizza stone ever, and it is a poor design that breaks pretty much the first or second time you use it.
Maybe my fault for refrigerated sauce leaking off the rim and onto the stone; Maybe not my fault (Maybe not built well enough.
Either way: NO, NO WAY I WOULD RECOMMEND ANY ONE ELSE EVER BUYING THIS MODEL.
Ohio Stoneware through out it's history has most usually created top notch stuff.
But this design is a real piece of trash.
If you want a shattered pizza stone, this is the product for you…

Cracked while cooking the pizza on the second usage. It literally just cracked while the pizza was in the oven cooking. I have had many pizza stones, and never had this happen. This seemed to be of cheaper quality, but I figured for the price I'd give it a try—big mistake. Complete garbage. I'd give it 0 stars if it let me. The company that makes this should be ashamed of themselves and not even bother wasting people's time and money.
The first time I used it, it definitely cracked. But the pizza came out amazing. And the company will gladly give you a replacement. I’m sure I definitely made an error that’s why it cracked but I got my replacement within a week
