A: Thank you for getting in touch with us about this. We do not test Olay products on animals and we are calling for an end to animal testing in skin care and the beauty industry. Olay is working closely with governments around the world to provide alternative research methods to eliminate testing on animals, enabling cruelty-free skin care in the beauty industry. For example, in a few countries where Olay is sold, governments still mandate animal tests. In those cases, Olay can be required by law to submit our products to labs where we know animal tests are happening. This is why we do not claim cruelty-free on our packaging. We do not believe these tests are necessary to evaluate safety or performance. But today, they won’t accept alternative non-animal testing methods. We remain steadfast and will continue to advocate for alternative methods to end animal tests in the industry. Olay also supports the Humane Society International’s #BeCrueltyFree campaign to ban animal testing for cosmetics in all major global beauty markets by 2023.

This lotion smells horrible. I use it only on my hands. The smell is like burnt car tires. The smell is sickening. I do not recommend. No improvement on hands. I don’t like anything about this lotion.

I did read the ingredients and saw that it had a fragrance so that was a plus! My skin feels light but firm. This is my new favorite lotion!

I've been a loyal Oil Of Olay user for over 25 plus years, and I must say that this lotion is the BEST I've ever used. My hands are extremely rough and dry this time of year. I tried the lotion and immediately noticed the difference in my hands, and I have to say that my hands and body are more hydrated than ever. I have used many lotions and when I bought this one it surprised me I never thought I would find a good one that tells the truth on the bottle! I was looking for something for wrinkles and to hydrate my skin and this does it all and it's not greasy or thick it's perfect I love it ! and if anyone doesn't I recommend they go to see a dermatologist because they must have serious skin issues and what they need is a prescription from the Dr . I'm glad I found this bottle ! thank you Olay !

I have been using this lotion for several months, and I am so impressed. My skin looks and feels amazing, soft, and smooth. I feel my moisture barrier has been repaired. I also feel that this helps with random dry patches that I get sometimes in the winter. I shower two or three times a day, once in the morning, when I wake up, once, after I work out, and once before bed, and each time, I apply it. I feel it works best after exfoliating in the shower, and a little bit goes a long way. It does take time to sink in, but I feel it working. I like the consistency, it is not too thick. I use it year-round, but this is wonderful as a light summer lotion in hot weather. My husband has commented on how soft and smooth my skin is. I’m in my 40s, and my skin looks like that of an 18 year old. That may be partially due to genetics, but it’s also credited to rigorous skincare. Don’t sleep on this lotion! Definitely give it a shot. I don’t find the fragrance overpowering, it smells fresh and clean to me. I really like that there is no shimmer in it. I hate pumps though, I wish this came in a tube.

This was I guess replacing the olay quench that you could get scented or unscented and it had a tiny shimmer to it. It was great I loved the unscented version but both were great you could apply at night and still be very hydrated the next day. This new one is watery and very obnoxiously loud with some kinda scent .. guess I’ll find another brand body lotion

I purchased this product thinking it would be a good body lotion which it is but come to find out there is perfum in the product. This was a dumb purchase on my end being a man, but the bottle makes no mention of perfum. I thought it was going to be scentless.

In general, we recommend cleansing and moisturizing morning and night for best results. We conduct a lot of research with consumers just like you. Our research shows that your skin should feel noticeably different within the first week of using our product, and you should begin to see an improvement in your skin after about 2 weeks of use. If you're using one of our anti-aging products, you should see a visible reduction in fine lines, wrinkles and skin discoloration within 28 days of use. If you stop using a product, your skin will likely return to its previous condition.

The smell for me wasn’t bad and I quite like it, what I didn’t like that it’s Very watery when you apply it. I know it’s a lotion and not a cream but this product is much watered down then most lotions. I had to apply it twice for it to absorb into my skin and only seems to moisturize my skin for only a few hours even after I apply it twice. Will not purchase again, I also wish the original quench lotion would come back too.
