Q: How is the EYES retinol 24 product different from the Retinol 24 product? I’ve been using the Retinol 24 one for under my eyes too. Wrong?

A: Hi LD! The Retinol 24 EYES is specific to use near the eye area to help with dark circles, puffiness, lines and wrinkles. The Retinol 24 is specific to the face, use near the eye area should be avoided. Keep in mind, skin near the eye area is much different and much more delicate than that of the skin on the cheeks, chin, nose and forehead, so different nourishment is necessary. Hope this helps!

A: Hi HB! This product is recommended for use at night because as with any retinoid, retinol makes the skin more sensitive to UV rays and sunlight. We recommend using SPF during the day when using any retinol product to help protect your skin from UV rays. I hope this helps!

A: Your skin may be sensitive to retinol. Try every other night, alternating with moisturizer. Always put moisturizer on top after it soaks in (about 10 min). If that doesn’t help, try every 2 days or layer an eye oil underneath.

I have been using this product for years with no problems. Recently, I've developed burning, redness, swelling and dryness around the eyes after I apply it. Happened several times. Guess my body has changed. So, I will try avoiding the sensitive eye area and only apply to the rest of my face. Hope this works.

This and the matching face cream are my first ever exposures to retinol. I am using it to prevent wrinkles and other issues in the future, so I can only speak for the formula. It is so light and velvety and gentle on my skin. I have been using it nightly for almost a month and I have experienced no irritation or sensitivity.

Been using it for a month: 1) It is indeed moisturizing 2) Has not irritated my skin at all. 3) It has faded my under eye wrinkles but just because it is moisturizing. Retinol needs a long time to start working. A good moisturizer with no retinol can also fade your wrinkles. 4) It leaves an annoying white cast and it balls up when applied on top of serums/lotions. 5) I won't be buying it again just because it comes in a jar. I don't trust jars because retinoids are very unstable. Overall: very moisturizing ✅ fades wrinkles ✅ comes in a jar ❌ balls up and leaves a cast ❌
