This digital recorder is easy to use, has plenty of recording space, and good clear sound for voices recorded. I don't use it for music so have no opinion on that, but probably will work fine for that. Very affordable price.

I had to re read the instructions a few times but once I did it was pretty simple to understand. I needed a affordable recorder to record my obnoxious repulsive neighbors beneath me and shockingly this does the job. I was surprised at how clear it sounded and picked up the noise beneath me. What I don’t like is you have to keep purchasing batteries to keep it on and it’s a little hard to understand how to use at first.. but other than that it’s decent.

I bought this today as I had left my ordinary recorder at the office. I regret spending $35. This is TERRIBLE. You cannot pause in dictation, which makes it useless for dictating business documents, letters, reviewing documents, etc. The only file type is WMA, which my Mac won't play. The machine is cheap, light, and flimsy. the WS-852 is far superior.

This recorder seems to work just fine, I had to return it and get the WS - 852. The one feature that this product does not have is pause recording with out making a new file. That was a mandatory feature for me. Other than that it seems to be just as nice as the WS852 what has preformed well .
