I was going to to the local juice bar about 3 times a week (which was expensive, and then I found out that they didn't always use organic fruits and vegis ). I was a bit hesitant to get a juicer because I thought it might be too much work but it's not at all! I've been using the Omega almost every day since it arrived about 3 weeks ago and I LOVE it!! It's easy to assemble, easy to use, really easy to clean, and every combination of fruits and vegis I've made has been delicious and organic. I'm so very very happy with, the size, the price, the convenience, the 15 year warranty......everything : )

I previously owned the Omega 8005 but after 14 years and quite a bit of use, it just wasn't performing well anymore. I juice celery every day and the CNC80S Compact does a good job with this. The pulp is wetter than I would like, however, it produces about 48 oz of celery juice from approximately two and a half large bunches of celery. Like the 8005, it's easy to clean. Overall, I am satisfied with the value and performance of the this juicer.

Great juicer!

This is my 1st cold press horizontal juicer. Previously we used a Cuisinart citrus juicer which was difficult to use and made a big mess. The Omega compact juicer is easy to use and easy to clean. There is more prep work involved such as cutting the fruits and removing orange peels for example. But after that all the hard work is done for you inside the machine. The Omega successfully extracts the juice and separates the pulp leaving it dry. Using the included strainer on the collection cup we had very little pulp in our orange juice and I HATE pulp. So far we have made orange juice and a apple, carrot, ginger juice. Both tasted fantastic. Better than anything we buy in the store. The Omega machine takes up little space and is easy to clean and store after use. The one thing this machine is not is fast. It takes some time to make juice, but it's worth it. Here a good tip: If your juicing only soft fruit like citrus, remove the pressure adjustment knob completely from the pulp spout. This will make it easier for the machine to eject the soft pulp and prevent it from getting jammed up around the auger in the juicing area.

Good first time juicer

This is my first masticating juicer. It is easy to set up and use and it is not too noisy. Easy to clean...a quick rinse of components and then into the dishwasher. I have so far juiced different combinations of blackberries, carrots, apples, celery, mango, tangerines, beets, ginger, blueberries without issues. Strawberries did not work well for some reason. I have been juicing four to five days a week for breakfast juice. I feel more energized on the days I incorporate juice into my diet. I previously have used a centrifugal type juicer which was super loud and the filter not easily cleaned.

I've used this juicer every day since I"ve gotten it. I make 16 oz of celery juice everyday and also banana "nice" cream. I saw a demo where this yielded slightly less juice than the model that the Medical Medium recommended. But it wasn't enough to deter me. I chose this one because of the compactness and the sorbet making feature. I used to use a centrifugal Breville, but I hardly took it out because it was a pain to lug it out and afterwards cleaning it. Plus the yield using masticating juicers are just way better. I absolutely love this compact one. Idk why it took me so longer to get one.

Just tried our new CNC80S Compact Juicer after selling a 8003 model. Only thing we miss from the 8003 is the double sided push plunger. The skinny side came in handy when item were stuck to wall even when we use coconut oil as a chute lubricant. New model is slightly quieter, output is similar. New machine runs slightly hotter on body after extended use. Like the compact size.

I love that this juicer can do more than just juice. I probably make more nut butters and pasta than I do juice with it, though its juicing ability is fantastic. I can't find any cons for this thing; it's compact, cleans easily, works very well, and has multiple uses. It's a welcome addition to my kitchen.

I own three other juicers but this one is the cream of the crop. It does a great job with greens and other vegetables. I have no complaints about this juicer. It was the stainless steel screens that sold me because they will hold up better than the just plastic screens.

I got my juicer just a few days ago and have already used it several times. It is really fun to watch the fruits and vegetables being "masticated" by the juicer and I have had no problem juicing a variety of soft and hard ingredients, including pineapple, lemon with the peel, tangerines, beets, kale, ginger, carrots, celery and cucumbers. Best of all, the juicer is really easy to take apart and to clean! I used to have a centrifugal juicer of another brand, and it was such a hassle to clean that I stopped using it. This one is high powered and does a great job, and also easy to clean! I am thrilled with my purchase! Highly recommended!

Great for 2 cups, not so good for making a pitcher

Solid motor. Carrying handle on top is a plus. Makes good juice!! But, not happy with this design. Feed shoot is really small. It has a problem with soft stuff (cucumber/orange); just doesn't seem to able to push it through. If I alternate - cucumber, then carrots, then cucumber, etc. - seems to help. Main complaints are these: 1) It's a masticating juicer, which means you can make bigger batches of juice to put in the fridge. BUT the container that catches the juice is maybe 2 cups. To make a pitcher of juice means juicing for a while, stopping, pulling out the juice-catch-container, cleaning out the screen, pouring juice into pitcher, putting everything back, then resume juicing. This increases time and mess. If the machine sat up higher, a bigger catch-container could be put underneath. 2) There is no "close" valve on the juicer. When you slide the catch container out to clean the screen or pour the juice, the juice in the machine continues to drip/flow. This increases the mess. 3) The auger-grinder part is short, which makes the set-up of juicer/juice-catch-container/pulp-catch-container a pretty tight operation in terms of space. If you need to remove the juice-catch-container while juicing to clean the screen or pour juice into something, it means having to move the pulp-catch-container out of the way, which means having to scrape any hanging pulp from the exit shoot or lest it falls on the counter, like it did with me. This increases the time and the mess. Overall, this is my third juicer, my second masticating juicer. I'm a devout juicer. This one is the messiest juicer I've used. And this one makes me feel like I'm working for my juice more than any juicer I've used. Keep in mind, I'm making a small pitcher of juice. If you're into making two cups of juice and then stopping and cleaning up, this is a fantastic choice and should last a lifetime and you should buy it now. But, if you're into taking advantage of the whole reason to get a masticating juicer (making enough juice that you can put it in the fridge for later), I would not buy this one again and do not recommend it. The pulp is dry, the juice is great, but the design and operation are disappointments.

This is my first juicer and I did some research before I bought it, but I had no idea I would love using it and the products it makes. It is easy to use, strong and capable of doing so many amazing things, on top of producing delicious, healthful juice. And it cleans up so quickly and easily that each time I use it, pretty much daily, I am still in awe. Thank you so much for making this one of the best things I've invested in for my family's enjoyment and good health. Very sincerely, V. Zebrower

I previously used a Juiceman Jr, centrifugal machine, which just quit working after years of use, and wanted a juicer that didn't waste as much of the vegetables. I also tried a Fusion Juicer, centrifugal, which was worthless- didn't produce much juice and used a ton of veges just to make a couple of ounces of juice. I purchased the 8007 Omega masticating juicer. So far, while it takes a little longer to prepare the juice, I am quite pleased. The pulp is practically dry as it exits the machine, as the juicer seems to utilize all the available moisture from the vegetables. I am really glad to be able to get the most out of the vegetables I juice and not feel like I'm just blowing massive amounts of pulp into the garbage. It's the best juicer I've owned and I like that it can process wheat grass and that it also serve as a food processor, though I have not tried this feature yet.

Easy to assemble and use! Makes great juices!

I got it for Christmas this past December (2014), and I love it. I have been making multiple juices with various fruits and veggies. I will say juicing carrots, apples, kale and harder fruits and veggies is much easier. When you use lemon, oranges, pineapples you have to make sure to use apples or something to help it wash it down so it doesn't accumulate! However, I am sure that all juicers are made to juice harder fruits and veggies, so its normal! It does take more counter space than the vertical ones, but for me its not a problem. It's longer to wash than a blender obviously, however it is easy to disassemble and assemble as well as wash the parts. The pulp is pretty dry, can't squeeze out juice out of it. Overall, I am very happy with this juicer! Also you can use it to make other things if you switch up the nozzles but for me I don't need that.
