These omeprazole tablets work differently from other heartburn products, such as antacids. up & up™ Omeprazole Delayed Release Tablets 20 mg stop acid production at the source, the acid pump that produces stomach acid. Taken once every 24 hours for 14 days, this product is not intended for immediate relief of heartburn and may take 1 to 4 days for full effect, although some people get complete relief of symptoms within 24 hours. Made in Israel.
