Q: Given its name, is the Oral-B Pro 1500, 50% faster (brush) rotation than Oral-B Pro 1000 Crossaction? Also, does the Oral-B Pro 1500 & 1000 have Crossaction movement or is the Oral-B replacement/interchangeable head which has Crossaction movement?

A: The 1000 Crossaction brush has 8,800 oscillations per minute and 20,000 pulsations per minute were as the Pro 1500 has 9,900 oscillations per minute and 45,000 pulsations per minute. The cross action comes from the actual brush head that you use rather than the brush handle itself. The brush is okay. no case, which is a negative in my opinion. The worst part is oral b's return policy/guarantee. one return, per household, per lifetime. I sent it in, and they give the money back on a Northlane debit card. It wouldn't let me create an account, so I didn't know what the balance was. never again.

this is the BEST toothbrush i have ever owned. it is 100% one of the best investments i have ever purchased for my health. my oral hygiene has never been better! the two minute timer that tells to brush in a specific quadrant & the heads are perfect. the charger is easy to clean and i’ve never had any problems. i convinced my gf to buy one and she loves it so much. if you have been on the fence, this is your sign to get it!!! you will not regret it!

Disclaimer- I’m coming from using a high end oral B e-toothbrush. I got this for Xmas 2021 and no complaints at first-just your average electric toothbrush. But the battery had to be recharged in less than 2 weeks which is sad. Think of how much more your phone/laptop does and the battery life of it. Moreover, I went over the recommended time of replacing the head and found mold inside the head. The design is not good. I’m constantly cleaning where I put it down after using it which I never had to do on my other e brushes. The head prices are also unbelievably high. If you still go through with this purchase(I recommend not) it’s difficult to find the right heads from someone other than oral-B without getting the wrong size.

Will, we're very sorry you had this experience with the Oral B Smart 1500. The buildup you found in the brush head is likely from regular use, especially if you use an abrasive toothpaste. Even if rinsed after each use, residual toothpaste can harden over time and form a black, brown, orangish/tan, pink or grey, chalk-like coating on the metal shaft of the handle, the rubber, or in the joints and other places including on the charger. Toothpaste and/or water may also collect on the brush head, handle or on the surface of the charger, leaving a residue. This buildup may be colored depending on your toothpaste and water hardness. In either case, this substance is not harmful and can be removed with a thorough cleaning. To prevent this in the future do a thorough rinse following the recommendation in your manual. Including the handle and wiping the charger. If you have questions, or if we can help you with anything please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.

Powerful toothbrush that has three brushing speeds: super-speed, normal and slow. Super-speed cleans my teeth thoroughly, but it launches toothpaste/water all over the bathroom counter. I don't like that the power button is recessed and hard for my big fingers to push.

This is my first electric toothbrush and I’m mad it took me this long to level up! It gave me immediate results after the very first brushing straight out of the box. This feels like you just had a professional cleaning every single time you use it. It’s amazing! I really like that it has 3 cleansing speeds, and I can’t wait to try one of the interchangeable heads and use the whitening option. My teeth are so shiny and smooth! Can’t recommend this enough.

Won't charge, won't work. I had an Oral B 1000 which lasted many years (6? 7?) til it started slowing down, so I got this one. It cost almost twice as much, so it must be better, right? Wrong. It didn't move itself along my teeth like the 1000 did. And it only lasted a fraction of the time the 1000 did. Very disappointed.

I'm not a huge fan of this toothbrush, I feel like the Circular head doesn't clean every inch of my teeth and doesn't get down by the gums well so it doesn't help me from not getting plaque

i love this electric toothbrush. it is very effective, has the right amount of spin and is light weight. i like that the charging part is small doesn’t take up much on the sink. the charge of the toothbrush is good, lasts about a week. i would buy again.

Electric toothbrushes are awesome and this is the only brand I have ever used because I am that satisfied with it. It reaches every tooth and they feel super clean after each use. The best part, it basically does all the hard work for you, you just need to move it in all the right directions. I get cleanings regularly but haven't had to have a deep cleaning in awhile.

I really enjoy this tooth brush! It’s my first time buying and using an electric toothbrush. It cleans and after the brushing you feel your teeth clean. I went to the dentist after using this toothbrush for 4 months and my dentist asked me what am I doing differently? Because he sees a huge difference hahah. I told him oral B electric. He goes great! Keep it up. I recommend this 100% you won’t be disappointed.

Works well to keep your mouth clean. It's also super loud and the replacements are expensive. It's not my favorite but it wasn't a bad purchase. I have a smaller mouth so it was ideal for that.
