I remember how good Oreos were years ago. Now they're awful! The cookie has little to no flavor, the filling is oily and doesn't taste good, just sweet. Whatever they did to the recipe is tasteless and if I eat too many i now get heartburn. That tells me they have too much fat/oil and preservatives in them. The filling isn't creamy, either. I came across a sandwich cookie that reminds me of how Oreos used to be...Newman's Own sandwich cookies! They were so enjoyable because they had flavor, and the filling was creamy, I was in heaven! They are expensive in comparison but it seems like a case of "you get what you pay for." I will never buy another pkg of Oreos. Unless they stop being cheap and go back to their old, wonderful recipe.
