I tried these eggs because they are advertised as organic, plus I get a decent employee discount on them. I don't believe they actually are organic. The yolks are extremely pale, indicating the chickens were not able to eat natural nutritious feed. I will never buy these eggs again. I was not happy with the thin shells, pale yolks, and bland taste. Nellie's eggs are of a far better quality in my opinion and they aren't even certified organic.
Ammonia/Chemical Smell

We noticed from a previous carton that some of the eggs smelled (once cracked) like a strong chemical smell. We threw them out and used different ones. It happened again from a new carton which made me finally look it up. Apparently eggs start to smell like that when they are sitting in manure or unkept chicken coops. This is really disappointing because you’d think “organic eggs” come from a good place and happy hens, but this has proven to be untrue in this case.
Questionable Quality

The shells are thin and they don’t taste organic. It’s strange to me. I will no longer buy these as the quality is questionable. I read another review that the thin shells and flat eggs are a sign of unhappy chickens. I don’t trust this at all. I know quality food and this isn’t it.

Doesn’t even deserve a star . The eggs broke when being boiled twice . Third time decided to crack one before boiling it and to my surprise it had white string all over it . Seemed like these were old eggs or something. I tossed a whole dozen of them to the trash. Wasted my money are supposedly organic eggs.

I usually by Vital Farms or Nellie's and thought I'd save some $. These are poor quality. The shells are thin as well as the yolks being pale yellow. 2 signs of unhappy unhealthy chickens. I'll stick to the other brands.

These eggs yolks were so pale in color. If they are cage free the yolks should be rich in orange color!

Have purchased these eggs since late February because of low price compared to organic eggs at my supermarket . Since late April noticed that the egg whites are not thick but very thin and watery. Impossible to prepare sunny side up or over easy. I scramble them and use in baking. They seem to taste fine. The watery egg whites persisted with my last purchase this past weekend. The product is not past the expiration date. Also, I store the eggs in the cartoon on a shelf in my refrigerator. Disappointed but feel Target is selling an inferior product that I will no longer buy. Curious if the watery egg whites are because of their supplier in the Cleveland, Ohio area or if this is a National issue?
Awesome!
