Guests are saying
Guests appreciate the quality and taste of these organic eggs, often highlighting their affordability compared to other brands. Many enjoy the deep golden yolks and the fact that they are cage-free. However, concerns about price increases, broken eggs upon delivery, and plastic packaging have been noted. Overall, these eggs are seen as a great option for those seeking organic products at a reasonable price, despite some quality control issues.

Eggs were wet
Bought two. In each one the eggs were wet! I mean really wet! They were also not packaged as in the picture but in double plastic cartons. I tossed them, because I would have had to stand in the Christmas return line to get my money back. Although I had curbside pickup--surprise, no curbside return.

Broken eggs
I have now had two dozen of these eggs at different times have the shells broken on at least two eggs with the membrane still intact (obviously can’t use the eggs). I started submerging them in water first to ensure there are no breaks/cracks/punctures I couldn’t visibly see. Very disappointed considering the price.

If you like your eggs with solid whites and jammy yolks, this one might not be for you.
My eggs turn out with solid whites and jammy yolks by steaming on med heat for 7 mins 15 secs, placing them in ice water for 15 mins, then peel. The peels come right off, leaving the whole egg intact. However, the whites on the Target eggs were loose and often peeled off with the shell. I also had Contented Hen (CH) eggs cooking along with the Target eggs. The CH eggs came out perfect. I know fresher eggs cook differently than older eggs. The Target eggs had a sell by date of Dec 10, 2025, the CH eggs had a sell by of Dec 11, 2025, so I doubt the dates made any difference. The Target eggs taste fine, there's just less of the whites because they stuck to the shell and wound up in the trash.

always fresh, great value
We order these eggs most of the time and they're always fresh. A great value compared to some other (very very similar) organic cage free labelled brands. I'm always a bit skeptical of the "cage free" label, so please do your research and due diligence on this topic if you are passionate about it! It doesn't always mean what we think it means.

Appreciate the lower price, but quality has been questionable
We’ve been buying these eggs for a while because organic is important to us and Target’s prices have been better than anywhere locally to us. We go through a ton of eggs as a large family so it adds up! The past several times we’ve bought them, though, the eggs have been filled with bloody clots and the shells have been so brittle. I’m an experienced cook and I can’t crack them without little shards of thin, brittle shell; I’ve never experienced this before and a quick Google search tells me this can be from unhealthy chickens. I would love to keep buying these but am going to take a break and get a different brand.

An egg is broken so I was asked to go downstairs and grab another one to switch. When I came back after 5 mins, I was literally promised this item will get waived. No, it is still on my receipt and I only found out after leaving the store.

Smashed eggs. I have never had this issue before. Eggs were in a separate bag. The individual loading purchased items was not that friendly either. Usually I have great service.

Yolks tasted fishy
I eat about 18 eggs each week, usually Egglands Best. My shopper grabbed these as a substitute. The eggs weren't close to expiring (date is Nov 18) and the yolks aren't pale. However, 6 out of 12 eggs (so far) have tasted like fish. It seems to be the yolk, because the white tasted fine.I spit them out and threw out the rest of the eggs. Never again.

Palest yolks ever
The egg yolks are the palest yellow I’ve ever seen in an egg which usually means the chicken’s nutrition has not been good. They will give you basically zero flavor scrambled eggs & hard boiled eggs. I will not purchase these again. Gave 2 stars since the price isn’t horrible.
