The apple sauce is pretty good. Not amazing but alright. I give it 2 stars because the jar is horrible. It has soooo many creases that make it impossible to finish the jar. So unnecessarily wasteful. Disappointing. Please change the jar!!!

I tried this organic applesauce because it was a good value but, the taste was very sour. I know it is unsweetened but the other brands of organic unsweetened applesauce we usually buy are still sweet even without added sugar.

Quality assurance needs to be better. I buy these all the time. About 10 per month. About 1 in 4 bottles is very very watery. Like a drink. It seems to be getting worse. I’m happy with the ones that are normal, but it’s frustrating to return all the watery ones. I hope they can fix this problem as I’ve started looking for alternatives.

Yuck! My toddler said it was like soup and it tasted like hard cider to me! I thought maybe we had opened a spoiled container but we’d bought two and the second one was just as liquidy and harsh tasting. Never write reviews but have to warn others - don’t buy!

The ingredients include water, and you can tell it is quite watered down. Works ok for baking with, but I’m not a fan of eating it straight out of the jar. Trader Joe’s organic applesauce doesn’t have the added water and is much more like homemade applesauce.
