Q: How can I tell which colors are clear and which are more opaque? I just purchased Kiss Me I'm Kind, which from the picture appears to be opaque, but was actually clear.

A: Hi there! It would be easier to tell you which shades are a sheer formula. Nourishing Nude, Sheer Luck, Makuna Me Crazy, and Kiss Me I'm Kind are all sheer shades that need to be built up a little more if you're looking for full coverage. If you're ever unsure of a polish coverage, you can always Google the shade and find swatches! Hope this helps!

Q: What do I use to get this off? Non-acetone remover isn't working very well. I'm a little chemically sensitive.

A: We recommend using standard nail polish remover to customers. If you're unable to use that, we'd recommend soaking a cotton ball thoroughly in your non-acetone remover and letting it soak over the nail for at least a fill minute. This will allow the remover to get in and under the polish successfully and should help wipe it away easier!

A: All shades in our Breathable line are Breathable and will be marked as such. Any bottle you see that JUST has the ORLY logo but not Breathable is not part of that line. Hope that helps!

While I like the polish for ease of use, and durability, as others have said, the color for Namaste Healthy is way off. It is nowhere near a dark burgundy red, rather, it is a bright red. I saw the other reviews and so checked the color on multiple screens before purchase. All registered a deep burgundy wine color so I thought perhaps the problem was corrected. Nope!

Just a heads up that the color “Sweet Serenity” is a completely sheer pink. I bought it to use for French manicures so it’s perfect for me, but if you are looking online and want a cream or pigmented polish this is not it. It’s a beautiful light wash of pink that makes your nail beds a nice healthy color, but is definitely sheer.

The texture is extremely watery and even after a light coat, the color kept moving as it dried. I had to keep wiping away excess nail polish as it repeatedly accumulated in the edges of my nail. I purchased the color "Nourishing Nude", which did not show up as any color on my nails - it looks like a clear polish. Overall, there were no upsides to this product. It has no detectable color and is hard to work with because of the watery texture.

Very happy with this polish. It dried a lot more quickly than I expected, and the color is very nice. I put three coats on, since two didn’t quite provide full coverage. It has been a few days of dishes and diapers now, and the polish still hasn’t chipped once. The finish is a little softer than other polishes, so you do have to be a little careful of scratching it, but I really like this polish. I’ll definitely be getting more colors.

I was super excited for the color Heaven Sent, since I’ve been looking for a greige color. The nail polish in person is waaay lighter. It’s more of a pearly light tan. It was easy to apply and has good coverage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I was hoping for in a color.

Love this long lasting formula. Brush application is smooth like all Orly products. The “Red” color does not translate very well compared to the online picture. I received on an order pick up and was expecting a darker ox blood red and came to receive more of a true bright red. Didn’t mind the color since the formulation was so good just expected something different.

Purchased Crystal Healing. I typically use Zoya nail polish, so this Orly breathable polish is a first try for me. This isn’t a very opaque color. I used 2 coats in my photo and could still see my nail plate through the polish but not too badly. Tried 3 coats but it refused to dry after waiting 3 hours. I use a quick dry top coat (Jessica brilliance) which is my staple top coat. Every other top coat I have tried sucks. This is like a nude with pink-purple iridescent shimmer. I love the color but the formula could use a little work. Longevity is same as Zoya, about 6 days and I believe that credit goes to the top coat that I use. I love the brush. It’s wide, so you only need minimal coats for full application.
