I bought this blender about 2 months ago and went to use it today. I put in all the ingredients and turned it on and it leaked all over the countertop. Threw out what I was attempting to make. Took everything apart and watched some videos and realized the gray ring around the blade didn’t fit and would not snap into place. Very frustrating

If your blender is leaking, check the following: 1. Is the sealing ring over the blade? 2. Is the threaded bottom cap on tight enough? 3. Is the jar cracked at the bottom? 4. Is the threaded bottom cap cracked? 5. Is the sealing ring missing? 6. Is the sealing ring cracked, broken, or rotting 7. Does the item being blended exceed jar capacity? If you check all points of the blender jar and the leaking still occurs, look for a replacement blade and sealing ring. Your Oster Pro® Blender has a 3-year limited warranty. This blender leaked at the bottom making a mess in my kitchen. It didn't mix/blend ingredients well at all. I will have to return this item unfortunately.

If No, kindly check and place the grey sealing ring in the blade assembly properly. - Is the blade assembly attached tight enough? If No, kindly tightened the blade assembly. - Is the jar cracked? Kindly double check for any cracked part on the jar. - Is the blade assembly cracked? Kindly double check for any cracked part on the blade assembly. - Is the grey sealing ring cracked, broken, missing, or rotting? If Yes, kindly replace it with a new one - Does the item being blended exceed jar capacity? If Yes, please make sure to allow some space so that the blender will not leak. - Is the threaded bottom cap on tight enough? The 2 blending bases are very similar but if you use the wrong sealing ring, the ring gets blended with the smoothie. Replacement sealing rings are not available making the blender unusable

Compre un equipo de este modelo y mi esposa le coloco mal la junta negra que viene con el vaso Tritan y se daño y ahora no consigo comprar esa junta solamente. En las ofertas de ventas de juntas solo se ofertan las de color gris con pestañas que no tiene la junta negra del vaso Tritan. Esto fue una mala colocacion de la junta porque realmente este equipo es increible lo bien que funciona estamos muy contentos con esta compra

I have no idea how people can give this cheaply made Oster blender a good review. Throughout the years my family has used Oster blenders and they have have been great. However, this Oster Pro with texture settings is a complete piece of junk. It wouldn't even turn or blend a protein shake with milk, ice and bananas. It turned into a mess because I had to keep sticking a spoon in the blender to try and get the liquid to move. I ended up pulling out an old Oster to get the job done. Not only that, it's plastic and feels cheap. The old one is glass, more powerful and has the ability to liquify and crush ice. As others have stated this blender creates too many air pockets and doesn't blend well. Very disappointed with this model.

Can't remove the blade for cleaning- jammed-fail

We used this newly purchased about two times. No matter how hard we try, we can't remove the screw-on base holding the blade to plastic pitcher. It is jammed in place. That means it can't be cleaned, and we can't use the two smoothie cups, which are meant to use the same screw-on blade. The motor works well, but everything else is useless. Why would you design the pitcher with a plastic "skirt" that extends over the screw-on base? It makes it extraordinarily difficult to get a hand inside to unscrew the blade. And the lock mechanism at the base does not work with the shape of that plastic overlay "skirt." They collide. Completely frustrating design, completely unusable product, and completely disappointed customer.

Works great, but the blade rusts

I bought this few months ago. It works great! However, the blade part rusts after we wash it. We didn’t notice until we kept on seeing a round rusty spot where we put the blade.

I was loving this blender UNTIL I changed to the tritan jar. Now it leaks. What I put into the blender comes out of the bottom. It does work fabulous it's just quite the mess to clean up.

My new go to blender for any smoothies, especially Margaritas! It was super simple to assemble. I love that it doesn’t have too many functions on the front for confusion. I have made the smoothest margaritas with this blender! No hidden chucks of fruit or ice in your smoothies. It blended everything Well each time. I like that once I push “start/stop” button it blends on its own. It definitely has a different blending method than a regular blender. Its also so easy to clean and Fits well in the dishwasher. This blender is really good at making my morning smoothies. It has no problem blending my fruit and vegetables to a great drinkable consistency. The blender also does very well with ice for smoothies and margaritas. Making salsa is a breeze even has its own programing to set for fresh salsa. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The Oster Pro Blender with Texture Select is a very helpful product to have in your household. I love that making salsa now is so much easier. Most of the time my other blender didnt blend as well. However oster pro blender, allows you to customize how hearty you want the chunks to be. I like chunky salsa but my husband does not. So I can make small bathes for each of us with the same blender. In addition to that if you are like me and its hard to eat fruits and veggies before they go bad, this is perfect for you. I make smoothies all the time and since the blender is so powerful you can even frozen berries. I make a smoothie with chopped hazelnuts and I wasnt sure the blender could handle it. But I have had no issues in fact they were finely ground by the time it was done. Very impressive. Since it does have a lot of power, it is not a quiet blender to which I do not mind but some others might not enjoy that. But to get the blending you want done right, you need something powerful and this it! This is easy to read and use, you do not need to fumble with parts and pieces. I have been on a smoothie kick and have had a blast making smoothies with my new blender. With this only having texture settings it takes out all the guess work of what setting and how long, it is amazing. I make a perfect smoothie everytime. I put fresh fruit in it and it's perfect. Also with the directions that came with it there was a salsa recipe in it and I tried it and it was absolutely scrumptious. I have been utilizing this blender for about a month now and finding it to be on my kitchen countertop every few days. (Mainly because I am bringing in fresh veggies out of my garden and making lots of sauces.) There are 3 "settings" and then the low-medium-high settings, I find I use the "salsa" setting mainly. It is not a loud setting and it gives me the texture I am typically looking for. The quality of the materials used are pretty sturdy, although I would feel better if the top locked onto the base. I love the twist cap on top, I can add more into the machine easily. The rubber on the lid is quite a good thickness and I feel it is secure when on. Over all, this machine looks good and performs as it should! Other than my desire for the extra security, I can not find any faults. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's the best blender I have ever owned. I love the look of it, the black brushed metal appearance looks great! I love that the base of it doesn't have a million buttons on it, just a knob and a few small buttons, but there are plenty of setting options. I really love that the entire pitcher assembly is dishwasher safe - the blade unscrews from the bottom and can go in the dishwasher along with the pitcher itself and the lid. The pitcher is a sturdy BPA-free plastic, not glass. It's super easy to use, and the settings work very well. The first time I used it was for a milkshake, because YUM, and it's something easy that I could make to familiarize myself with how it works. It's powerful and it made a perfect thick milkshake. I have since used it to make black bean patties, for which I just dumped a can of black beans and a can of Southwestern style black bean mix into. I wanted this to be on the chunky side and it came out perfect. I used the pulse/thick setting for this. It left plenty of beans partially intact and the others were mushed up very well, which was exactly how I wanted it. I honestly love it, I can't think of a single thing I would do to change it. So far we've only used out new blender to make frozen alcoholic drinks. I'm enjoying my mixed drinks much more now that I have handy dandy blender. It blends up the ice very fast and efficient. The fruit that I add in also gets blended quite well and really makes the perfect drink. I is very well made and cleans up very easily. The bottom of the canister screws off for easy cleaning. We are going to start making healthy smoothies for our family and I have no doubt this blender will make the perfect smoothie. My friend is jealous and wants my blender.
