They should remove any mention of "glass" from the description. I read reviews before purchasing and thought maybe the company had switched to glass in the meantime as it clearly mentions a "glass jar" in the description. DO NOT BUY!!
THIS BLENDER SUCKS!
Please whatever you do, do not buy this blender. I thought since I'm a college student I could save by buying a cheap blender, I was dead wrong. This is the worst blender you can buy. I was able to purchase this item for under $15 (lost a piece to my Black & Decker blender- glass jar & solid plastic top). They (Target) did not have one on display so I was surprised this item was plastic. The jar is plastic and the top is a cheap plastic, it's bendable. This blender is described as having a glass pitcher. But it actually has a plastic one. That is doubtless the reason for the low price. The Target store manager kindly allowed me to exchange this for the next more expensive model.
