A: Thank you for asking! No. This waffle maker doesn't have an audible sound to tell you that the waffle is done. However, it should be done according to the Waffle Temperature Control setting that you’ve chosen.

A: I bought this waffle machine because it is ceramic instead of iron and is a good waffle maker, makes the 1 1/2 inches waffle if you like thickness.
The fact that is ceramic is a plus because my last machine I spent a lot and after a year got all rusty!
There is nothing wrong with this machine. I recommend it.
Do not believe the previous review that says it is trash because is not!

Here are a few easy steps to keep your waffle maker looking and working like new: 1 Always unplug the waffle maker and allow it to cool before cleaning. There is no need to disassemble the waffle maker for cleaning. Never immerse the waffle maker in water or place in dishwasher. 2 Brush away any loose crumbs from the grooves. Wipe grids clean with a paper towel, absorbing any oil or butter that might be down in the grooves of the grid. You can also wipe grids with a damp cloth. Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating. 3 Wipe the outside of the waffle maker with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Do not place it in the dishwasher. 4 Should any batter become baked onto the grids, pour a little cooking oil onto the hardened batter. It was a Black Friday purchase so it was about 1/2 off. Makes a nice thick waffle. Nonstick is great and not PFAS Handle doesn’t feel very solid. We will see how it hold up. It replaced a 20yr old conventional waffle maker that was about 2 x heavier.

We loved this waffle maker the THREE times we used it. Then all of a sudden after one year of having it it stopped working! I looked forward to having a waffle maker for years only for it to break after three uses. By then I couldn’t return it.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The waffle maker was delivered this afternoon so we planned breakfast for dinner. While warming up (after reading and following all instructions provided), there was a loud click, the power and ready button turned off. Yep- dead before my first waffle. I guess you get what you pay for.

This little maker is a gem! It works as described. No problems. Use it to make vegan waffles. We use Noracooks Best Ever Vegan Waffle recipe. We preheated the waffle maker for 5 minutes at least and then sprayed it really good with pam nonstick spray. Airy waffles with nice soft outer crunch. We cooked them on high and cooked them maybe a minute longer once flipped after the ready light came on. It doesn't look like it's made we'll, however, this is how things are now a days. For the price we expect it to last 5 years with occasional use ( maybe 10-12 times a year?).

If your waffle maker stopped working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the unit and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the unit's performance. Your waffle maker has a year of limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution.
