I was concerned when I burnt eggs on the lowest setting, 275 f the first time I used it. I tried again with another dish and it was scorched within minutes. I used an infrared thermometer to measure the surface heat. At 275f, the reading was 370f after 3 minutes, i then turned it to 375f, and the re...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought this to replace our two previous Presto skillets. We travel nearly full time in our motorhome and use our skillets a lot. After about 3 1/2 months food started sticking and scortching. I expected a much better skillet based on the price I paid. I would not recommend this skillet.see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought mine from Publishers Clearing House. It wasn't to enter their contest. It was because I needed something like this. I don't have a working stove because the one I got with my house is gas and I don't use gas, and rely on small appliances to do my cooking. I have devices that work, but a...see moreof the reviewer's review

This was a replacement pan, sent 2 months ago, used 3-4 times a week. Heat never used above 325 because pan gets too hot. First couple weeks great, but then noticed that infamous dark ring forming in pan. Sticking began 6 weeks into use, now all items are sticking, especially eggs. Not happy or i...see moreof the reviewer's review

We have tried using this recently for several different dishes. Each time it heats much higher than the desired temperature and burns food then shuts down and repeats the cycle. Very disappointed. We have burned/ruined several dishes in the last week. Bought this as a replacement of our old oster sk...see moreof the reviewer's review

I was excited about this skillet, I bought it to replace my Rival skillet that lasted me 7 years, but I wish I stayed with the Rival brand. I bought this one because I know that Oster is a reliable brand, but this skillet disappoints. It has a crazy hot spot on it that burns everything that touches ...see moreof the reviewer's review

We bought this a few months ago and found it is so hot that we have to cook on "simmer" for everything. It burns things, especially on the side opposite the temperature dial. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]see moreof the reviewer's review
