I blow dry my hair, and then flat iron it - or use one of those drying brushes. Because of my natural curl and wave, my hair tends to be frizzy. After trying at least 8 or 9 different products, I think I have found THE ONE. I spray it on dry sections before running the flat iron over it. My hair is shiny and smooth with all of the "free hair" movement that I favor. I do not like using a ton of products that take away the soft, natural feel of my hair. This spray smells wonderful, and it is not greasy, oily or heavy. I would highly recommend if you favor the smooth, flat shiny end result.

My hair is dry, very curly/wavy, and frizzy. I needed a light product to protect my hair from heat and minimize frizz; this product does both. It's interesting to read the comments regarding the smell because it's one of the things I love about it!

I decided to blow out my hair and use this product as a heat protectant and it's garbage. I want a smooth shiny blow out. My blowout was stiff and hard and when I would try to brush it out to smooth it out, it was tangled. The formula is not good.

I don't know what is is about companies making their heat protectants have such strong perfume smells. This was a random purchase because I have been through many protectants, but I could not get over the smell and had to walk away every time I sprayed it. Many people commented on the fact that the smell was so strong on my hair even hours after using it. Even so, it did a decent job, I have thick slightly curly brown hair. But will not repurchase.

My go to heat protection spray is usually from dry bar but I wanted to try something different. I purchased the Ouai heat protection spray. It works well and even adds a little shine. However I do not like the smell. With that being said I do not have any sensitivity to smell and am usually pretty tolerable but the smell has to much perfume for me. I guess I will just go back to my usual after I finish the bottle

I had read mixed reviews on the scent before purchasing, so I went to the store to smell it first and thought it was rather nice. However, when you're spraying enough to coat your hair.. it's almost suffocating. I have to open the bathroom door and then the fan on when I use it. Wont be buying again.

They didn't have my current obsession which is the Bondi Sands heat protectant, so I picked this one up. Terrible smell. Sprayed it on my hair & instantly regretted it. Will be returning.

This product works very well and I love aerosol heat protectant sprays. I feel like they disburse the product more evenly throughout your hair. The only (major) downside is the smell. It smells like a field of lilacs on steroids. I know some people enjoy floral scents, but me, not so much. I will not repurchase this for the smell alone.
