She's a beautiful doll with gorgeous hair and I love the accessories. I love that green dress with the animal print. My one complaint is that, I guess for the sake of displaying the doll in the box, her clothes were stitched on in some places. My daughter didn't expect that when trying to change her clothes and the thread pulled and tore a little hole in her body. Not too happy about that.
Love Naya's hairstyle. There's a long French braid which trails down her center back past the hem of her skirt. Really like that her hair is rooted to go straight back. Most unique to find dolls with this. Her coloring is particularly striking. (Very light blonde hair with pale sea green eyes make her stand out.) Really like her Meet outfit. The whole look together works well. Yet, each piece individually offers great mix n match potential with other items already in my collection. Really like her pith helmet and boots. Boots have great laces. Easy to tie because of their length and diameter. Looks like laces in real people shoes. What would I change about this doll? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even loved her book. Guess it's perfection when I like everything about her.
Was just like I expected! My 6 year old enjoys playing with her. The book and extra clothes are a fun addition to the doll. I bought this because my daughter wanted a camera and I think she's too young so I thought a camera with a doll would be second best.
I gifted this to my 4 year old for Christmas. I chose this doll as it seemed to be far less "girly" than many of the other OG dolls. I like the fact that she is an adventurer and not just a pretty face. She is active and feminine at the same time.
Great set for a younger elementary school aged child

These dolls are very nice and are a great deal considering they come with a book and an extra set of clothing. The outfit and accessories with this one are very cute. I haven't given it to my daughter yet, but I'm sure she'll love me reading her the book that goes with the doll and outfit. My daughter is young for one of those more expensive dolls similar to this one, but this one looks like a nice quality for a price you don't have to worry about her carrying around, damaging, or getting messy.
Over all this doll is rather cute, her boots are adorable and the clothing is decently made, true to photo. My major complaint comes with her hair. The hair line is sort of odd, starting high above the ears. Real hair doesn't look like this. It comes in a braid and there are photos of the doll with her hair down. However it doesn't stay in a braid even with light handling. When let down it is super long and her scalp shows very badly. You can really only keep it slicked back. Putting it back in a braid is not easy, for as thin as the scalp is, the hair is pretty thick. The layers in it also make it difficult to put back into the braid and again, it is so slick it easily slips out of the braid with light use. I'm talking, me handling the doll to try on homemade clothes. Let alone when my daughter plays with her. Her hat also doesn't stay on very well. Overall though, this doll and her accessories/outfits are still cute but I wish they would have rooted her hair for down and then figured out how to style it into a braid and perhaps extended the hairline down so it didn't look so odd. I expect some scalp showing at times but not being able to put it down limits play.
