Q: Does it come with a hamster?

A: I will add that my 6 year old was very upset, thought the hamster was missing ... we are now looking everywhere for a toy hamster that is sized for a doll. It would be nice if the manufacturer made the hamster — even if sold separately.

At this time Our Generation does not manufacture any hamsters, so for now it seems the hamster living in this cage will have to be imaginary. (But that might be even more fun?) We will mention your feedback to the design team and hopefully an OG hamster will be available soon!

Q: If you put something in the slot opening of the cash register, how do you get it out?

A: Hi there! Unfortunately, the only way to remove items that have been inserted into the slot will be to carefully loosen the 4 screws on the base and remove the base of the cash register. We have mentioned this oversight to our designers to prevent non-functional openings like this from appearing in future.

My 4 year old daughter picked this out. it's a really great set for little ones to use their imagination. It includes the store shelves/counter with hooks on each side, a dog bed, bag, and two baskets. The cash register is cute and the open/close button to open the drawer works but the others do not. Additionally, it includes a really nice dog carrier that zips. The dog that came with one of her OG dolls (Delphia) fits nicely inside. Smaller accessories that this set included were two balls, two Kong type puppy toys, two fish, a fish net, a hamster cage--with a spinning wheel which is cool--a fish aquarium and two pet dishes. I like that it comes with two fish. The only thing I can think of to suggest that would make this set more fun for little ones is to include a few matching sized hamsters for the set--or maybe make a pet set that is available separately for use with this store! Overall, my daughter enjoys this!

Most animals sold separate are too big for this set, & I can't find the 3" dogs. Cash Register also should have some money. So set itself is cute, but needs to come with mini animals or pieces need to be bigger.

Cute set, but only comes with fish, and all the pieces are too small for the Gen animals sold separately. I bought the hamster set too, and the cage & wheel in this set is Half the size of the hamster. If they are going to make the pieces all so small, at least sell an animals kit that fits them.

He addition of a hamster for the hamster cage and also some money for the till would really add to the appeal. Very disappointing to find the OG pets do not fit the carrier nor the bed. It seems the only thing that fits is a kitten as part of a set which I cannot find for live nor money. My daughter was really disappointed!

This set is perfect on its own or to go with the vet set! We love that the register opens and closes and the bag feels like a real bag from a store. The only down side are the fish and bag are easy to misplace. I wish you could buy them separately to replace or add to the fish tank collection. The details on the toys are cute and my daughter loves they look like some of her own pet’s toys.

The set is nice but my daughter was annoyed because the hamster cage doesn't have a hamster in it! And we looked for a hamster to buy separately and they don't even make hamsters. So my daughter wants to know why do they make a hamster cage but not a hamster. Also, the cash register buttons don't do anything, except the total/open button does open the drawer. At least they did provide fish for the fish tank.

This set is really cute! I love the little fish that stick to the aquarium and the little dog toys. The hamster cage and wheel is really cute, but I don't know why it doesn't come with a little hamster! The cash register is really cute, but not all the buttons work. I think for a $30 dollar set, there could at least be a little hamster!

my daughter picked this out for her bday and was very excited about it until she realized there was a hamster cage and no hamster (which you cannot purchase separately, the dog bag doest fit her AG dogs, the bone is not magnetic, and the dog bed is so bent and crumbled that it is not useable. Ugh, I love some of the OG stuff but this was a disappointment and i wish i just got the AG version.

A super cute set! I actually bought this just for the cash register because I bought the OG Diner and it didn’t come with one. i LOVE the fish and think it’s super cool how they stick to the sidebar of the plastic to look like they’re swimming! The only thing I don’t really like is - it doesn’t come with a small hamster which would be super cute. The animal carrier is small and won’t fit the regular sized OG dogs. It does fit the small grey kitten they have though. And it doesn’t come with money. But otherwise- another wonderful item from the OG team!!
