A: Hi jan. The Our Generation dolls have soft cloth bodies. The OG dolls are not meant to be put in the bath and we do not recommend that you get her wet in any way, as this will ruin your doll. Thank you. The Battat Team

The face looks off. She seems to have a wider face and chubbier cheeks in the picture. And a bit of a doe eyed expression. Seems to me a lot of these dolls are coming out of a very similar mold... But besides the complexion in general is off. The photos seem to suggest like a light medium Mediterranean appearance. Also suggested by her name. However the one we received has light brown skin. So, while pretty she looks different from daughter who is pale. Her name aside I think she would be good for say a middle eastern or indian child if you're looking for a doll that resembles the child w/ a matching name for ease of purchasing online. But then again, her hair is brown with some very chunky obvious streaks in it. Come to think of it this doll is a mess and I would not have purchased it in person. I will try to exchange. The other thing is I got Twinkle the tooth fairy at the same time my daughter adores her. Love at first sight. But that doll also comes with some very cute accessories and looks just like her picture. And lastly, minor gripe Maricela's eyelashes are not the same length. Of course one could try to fix this with a small pair of scissors. Still an excellent value for the price paid. But I will see if I can get to dolls that my daughter adores equally.
