My daughter hasn’t had it open 20 minutes and some of the tail hair came out when she combed her fingers through it. No rough tugging required to pull it out.

This typically goes with an 18 inch doll. Even if you don't have a doll to go with it your kids can still play with it. It is really sturdy. Also, one thing we enjoyed was that it stands on its own. I love seeing how my kids play with it.

The accessories are really cute too and I like that the foal comes with food and treats, even though it's weird that it comes with celery because horses don't eat celery.

She and her little brother take turns in feeding the horse and they spend several hours playing with it along with her dolls and other toys. I like how it encourages their imagination as they go on adventures together with the pony.

The saddle is a very soft fabric and the confetti color is a fun for a party print. The hair was beautiful when it came out of the box but after a week or so of a four year old touching and brushing it the horse mane does not lay very well. As for the accessories that come with the horse, I liked that they were all plastic and would be very difficult to destroy.

The features of the cupcake, celery and treat biscuits are a nice touch and have been used for lots of creative play. The horse itself works well with our 18inch dolls and our Barbies. My daughters especially love styling the horse’s mane. I’ve been really pleased with the quality and how versatile this horse has been for play. It’s a great toy for any child who loves horses.
