Our Place 1.9qt 10" Cast Iron Always Pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I procrastinated on this purchase because I have other traditional cast iron pans (Lodge) but I’m so glad I caved! This thing is HEFTY and great quality. Love that I have a matching lid and the handle grip accessory is key. High sides make it very versatile. I’ve browned meat, made gravy, simmered vegetables. It’s my go to pan now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s beautiful, and I so enjoy cooking with it! I’ve used it almost every day for the last few weeks. I plan to take good care of it and keep it forever. It is very heavy, I have to use both hands to pick it up, so that makes it difficult to pour/scrape sauces, but I’m fine with that since they’re so adorable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purched a nice set then this cast iron pan. Personally, I don't like it very much. I've used it a few times for eggs and some dinners. Maybe it's good for meats but not sure. Everything I've cooked so far burned up fast and EVERYTHING sticks to it even with EVVO. Again, maybe good for meat eaters but I'm pretty disappointed in this expensive purchase. The rest of the pots and pans I purchased are great tho. . .

Everyone who visits me loves that little cooker! Hope it functions as well years from bone. I’m 85 years old. Big cook. I mean A Huge Cook every Night! I’ve adapted to its idiosyncrasies because it’s not my big oven or any other appliance that cooks. It’s my life saver and keeps me nutritionally empowered and I feel safe using it if I abide by the heat it emanates and am careful. A few burned fingers ago I learned to be careful and not stupid! Thanks so much… Oh; fry pan is lovely but too heavy for me to lift so it’s on a shelf looking pretty but useless to me. I’m afraid to have a huge burning accident.

I’m learning how to use cast iron but so far everything is cooking really well. It cleans really easily. I have left it on the stove top because it’s so pretty (I bought the purple).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's get right into it! The glass lid shattered after I used it only three times. The lid is extremely lightweight, which made me concerned, but I didn't think it would literally shatter on me. To be transparent, I tapped the handle of the pan when I was about to cover the pan. With that being said, there is no reason the lid should have shattered. I'm pretty sure the company may have replaced the lid, but why replace a low-quality lid with another low-quality lid? For now, the other lids I have in my kitchen work well when I need covering. The pan itself is okay but I am disappointed the beautiful purple coating is already chipped (where the glass shattered). I mainly bought the pan for aesthetics so that's the biggest disappointment. Function-wise, the pan itself performs well. I do not have an issue with cleaning or cooking with this pan. If the lid was of better quality and the coating didn't chip, this would have been a 5-star rating. .
