I upgraded to the Gen3 a few years ago from a Gen2. The products are reliable. I wear the ring all day and night in order to monitor my health and fitness trends. Circles lets me share and see progress of my little "circle" and offer words of encouragement. I am older and have been active my entire life. The convenience of wearing a ring versus another fitness monitor is the best - subtle yet effective. The phone app is easy to use, too. Stop reading reviews and just buy one.

Been a customer and user of Oura for 5 years and each time my device or equipment has issues, they provide immediate, thorough assistance and/or replacement. I’m very grateful. The ring itself has been great, although not the comfiest for my fingers, especially if you have other rings. Make sure to separate them if you can on your hand.

I love the airplane mode feature. I'm not into having Bluetooth stuck to me all day, so having it in airplane mode gives me peace of mind. Will last a week in that mode. Being on the finger makes it the most reliable sleep tracker.

I bought this around April since my husband and I were having trouble conceiving and I thought this would be great to help me track ovulation and get pregnant. I didn’t receive it until after the ovulation cycle when I got pregnant so it didn’t really help with that like I hoped (but in a good way). I had already paid for a year subscription so I figured it would be nice to track my pregnancy and everything anyway. At first it was great, I loved seeing my stats and how little things impacted me and balancing it all. But then I had the normal changes that come with pregnancy and my scores began to drop no matter what I did (because I’m pregnant and it even says these things are NORMAL). My resilience went to limited and it’s impossible to get back up because my resting heart rate won’t go back for months and neither with my HRV. I had to stop wearing it because I would have a great day and feel great and it would tell me how awful I was doing and it made me feel worse. I really wish that pregnancy mode would actually matter and it would readjust the stats for where you’re at in pregnancy. I’m having a great pregnancy and feel amazing but according to my Oura ring I’m doing awful and it sucks to see. And rest mode didn’t make it any better, I tried.

Shopping experience was the worst I’ve ever had trying to deal with customer service after they lost my package. Customer service was rude, unhelpful and hung up on me several times. They offered no solutions and would not honor the fact that I originally purchased this item with a coupon despite the fact that they lost the package. I won’t be shopping at Target again, which isn’t a huge loss for them, but I caution you. Don’t purchase from Target unless you’re willing to risk hours of frustration and no resolution. Ultimately I had to turn to the BBB to help resolve my issue.

I have been using Oura for more than five years now, beginning with gen 2. The original purpose was to get assistance in improving my sleep. That has worked out quite nicely, I think. Today however, the ring is a nice companion all day long. It is not in the way or irritating at night the way a smart watch may be. It does not interfere at work or at the bar. The ring is rarely a conversation piece - it's just there.

I got this nearly three years ago. Besides being a marvel of engineering, it works really well compared to my wife’s Apple Watch. There is a trickle of improvements and new features, most of which are useful. The support is also awesome.
