Giving this item a 4 for value and quality because it is not very sturdy. It is filled with a really light material that sinks if you put more than your feet on it. It serves its purpose I suppose but for $50, I would expect it to be a little heavier and withstand someone sitting on it.
Love the light weight and neutral look that fits in with multiple areas of my home. I purchased this to use on my screened porch. I like that it tucks under the coffee table on the porch when I want it out of the way. However, I decided that I like it so much for use inside as well, that I found a spot for it in the adjacent den and will keep it there so it stays cleaner and pop it outside or elsewhere as desired. I always enjoy an ottoman, and have several different types throughout my home, now I have one that I can easily place where ever I want if there is not one already there.
This was an impulse buy. I wanted a footstool for my screened-in back porch as I spend a lot of time there working on my laptop. After looking at many footstools-- this one is too hard, this one is too sort, this one is too tall, this one is too short-- I order this online and picked it up at the store. It's a little spendy for a porch footstool, but it's comfy and looking nice with our furniture. The quality seemed good and as long as I don't accidentally leave it outside in a rainstorm, I think it will last for years.
