Requires the second person to pop out the roof
It was very easy to install except one of the legs was a little bit twisted into the fabric so every time I pulled the pop out piece, I could not get it to pop out. I had to kind of wiggle it around and get it untangled first. And then came the roof. So just like someone else said in their review, you can’t just pop up the roof or push on the inside to pop it up. I had to top all the tent over onto its side. And have a second person come over who pulled on the tab to pop it out while I held side tabs and pulled in the opposite direction. That’s how we got the roof to pop out and into place. A second person is most definitely needed. The instructions, don’t even bother looking at it. They are confusing as all get up and don’t really give you information on how to open it up. I did not secure mine to the ground using steaks as of yet, so I cannot offer an opinion on that process. We did hang little solar lanterns around the outside. And on the inside at the top, it looks like there’s a little hook that I can hang something from - I heard that there is a portable fan that works very well and I plan on ordering that and hanging it from inside. I do highly recommend this gazebo, even though I ran into the snafu of opening it up. At least I know for the future what I’ll need to do every year when I put it out.

Don't Waste Your Time
I own a T-4 Hub Tent. I am over 65 and a woman. I love to camp and this looked perfect since it is made similarly to the T4. You should just pull the tabs on each side. The door has a zipper so no tab. Once standing on its own, because all the sides are up, you go inside and push up the middle roof. Unfortunately no matter what I did, even removing the velcro cover from the center, the roof would not push up. Such a disappointment since its to late to buy another for my camping trip. These should be super easy to set up. Try, try again folks! I rated it one because chances are its going to happen to someone else. Look at the questions for this item and one person already stated her father could get the center push to push up the roof.
