It is what it is. It's much more attractive than the cheaper options, but it seems like there should be some engineering to the design to increase stability. Certainly you will have issues with anything tall and shallow like this, but these legs are very precarious. If you don't bump it you'll be fine, but if you were to elbow the side of this thing while brushing your teeth, there's a real risk of it buckling. Aside from that, the pressed wood is of such low quality, we knocked a piece of the veneer off before even building it by hitting it with our bare foot. I'm not sure what makes it so expensive given that it has less material than the $30 bookshelf from Target's Room Essentials...but that said it's not a terrible price. It leaves a lot to be desired in durability of design, but it's a reasonable value for appearance vs the open metal ones.
