Owala 20oz Stainless Steel SmoothSip Travel Mug

I love it once the spout is closed it’s 100% leak proof it’s a bit stiff to slide the spout open and closed but it’s understandably needed for a tight seal.

Really frustrated that Target keeps shipping me bottles with improper packaging. Two bottles in a row both damaged. I am not paying $30 for a dented water bottle. Why is it so hard for you to put bubble wrap or something to prevent damages?! I will now be ordering a third bottle and praying you will pack it properly.

After seeing a friend's Owalla Freesip I had to get one (In a gadget person) and was instantly hooked. I got a couple for cold drinks but really wanted one for coffee as well. The 24oz tumbler was the only one I found at the time that was approved for hot drinks so I got it - even though I would not need the straw or anything that size. When I found this out was what I was searching for, or so I thought. It does not keep my coffee hot for as long as I would like so it's usually warm rather than hot by the time I finish. Not great but I'll live with it. The other thing - the slider is very hard to move so I have to hold the cup firmly while almost forcing it. I love the spillproof feature but it works a little too well. But I'll live with it - might see if applying a but of vegetable oil helps. Aside from that, it fits nicely in my hand and cupholder, and is comfortable to hold. Love the colors. I would not recommend this for people who have arthritis or other issues with opening things - other than that I say go for it.

It’s almost perfect for my neurodivergent mind. It’s 100% leakproof and fits into a cup holder. It’s unbelievably easy to drink out of…something you don’t really think matters until you find a mug like this. And let me tell you it ends up making a huge difference. I don’t know how else to describe it other than sometimes sipping out of other travel mugs can be annoying, they have a wide mouth and I have literally spilled coffee all over myself before due to this. I want to choose this mug over any other travel mug I have because of their awesome little sipper hole! This is the freaking key to an awesome drinking experience and this alone will make me choose this brand over all others if they make a few changes! BUT unfortunately it just doesn’t keep it hot enough for my needs. I like to sip on coffee throughout my work day and I can honestly say this mug only keeps my coffee warm for 2-4 hours max. One big flaw that probably leads to this is that I cannot close the spout opening with one hand. It is so difficult that it is even hard to close with two hands! Im not lying when I say i sort of have to wrestle with it just to get it closed or open. So what I end up doing Is j just keeping the spout open because I don’t want to mess with that but then my coffee gets colder faster of course. If they can figure out a way to easily open/close the spout with one hand so I can quickly sip my coffee then close the opening, this will be by far the best coffee mug there is. I don’t want to choose another mug, so please fix this and I will be a lifelong fan!! I will tell everyone and be super excited about it! A few other suggestions that would please me but are in no way necessary: I would love if you could add some sort of handle to this. Handles are a godsend for people like me who drop things constantly, and that’s one thing companies like Stanley do really well. They know that we love handles! You could even sell them separately so that people can buy them to add to their mug if they wanted.. more money for you, yay! I also would appreciate it if you made it a more uniform width, that way I can add cute stickers to it. The weird shape of it stops me from doing that, but that’s a personal thing. I like that you have weird fun colors. I suggest to continue doing this BUT I will say us humans love shiny flashy glittery things. And there are way too many darn boring coffee travel mugs out there. Give us a few glittery or metallic fun colors to make us smile during our terrible work days. LASTLY if you added some form of silicone sleeve on the very bottom of the mug it would be amazing. It is just a nice touch that helps when you don’t want to make loud noises in a work places clanking your drink down on a table. I am a travel coffee mug connoisseur of a sorts so I know my opinions might not be for everyone. But I love your product so much I really really want to see a bit of improvements because I can promise you it will be beating out Stanley and Hydroflask in no time.

The mugs are great! But I had a slight issue with an online order. I ordered 2 Owala smoothsip slider mugs but when they arrived, one was damaged. Target was able to send a replacement! Customer service is excellent.

Keeps coffee and tea hot for hours. Fits in cup holder. Fits under mini keurig machine. The sip spout is comfy.

the actual product is great. no leaks and has fantastic build quality. target shipping is terrible. my tumbler came dented and scuffed and i will be exchanging for an undamaged product. only used target bc they were the only retailer that had this color way in stock. very disappointed and will be going to amazon next time.

I needed to replace my coffee mug and I think I made the best choice with Owala. It seemed a little expensive at first compared to my old travel mug but it kept my coffee hot the entire day. It was such an upgrade to my old mug. I plan to buy them as Christmas gifts this year.

I received the wrong cup

Just like their water bottle, I find that this is an incredibly easy tumbler to drink out of without any excess/mess you sometimes get with a larger drink lip - with no spillage!!! Great design! I like that the cylinder is square - makes it easier to grip, and looooove the color. Not sure I can use any of my other coffee mugs after this!

I cannot explain how much I love this thermos!! It’s my new favorite. It is a great size, leak proof, beautiful…I could go on and on. It’s also easy to disassemble to get all parts clean which is a must. Definitely recommend.

I was stuck between this one and the Stanley but I heard that the Stanley isn’t as good as everyone thinks. It contains some bad chemicals that can cause damage. This Owala mug is so nice and sleek. I love the size and the mouth piece. It’s super comfortable to drink from and I love that it maintained my drink hot for hours. So far it’s leak proof I haven’t removed the rubber ring yet so I’m not sure how it’ll be after but I’m hoping if I place it correctly it’ll stay leakproof. Love it so far! Very nice.

Love this cup. It’s comfortable to drink out of and I love that it fits in my cup holder. It is leak proof and keeps my ice cold for a long period. The pistachio color is a blue instead of green like the picture but I like it better.

I normally love owala products and own quite a few of their free sip water bottles. However, after one use and taking the lid apart to clean (according to their instructions), the bottle is no longer spill and leakproof. It is constantly spilling out the free slip slider, even when I’m just trying to take a drink.

Love this! Has a tight seal and keeps things hot.

It is ACTUALLY spill proof unlike other mugs and fits great in the car drink holder! Also love the color!
