submitted byOXO Customer Service - 3 years agoBrand expertA: I would never use a burr grinder for spices, nuts or anything but coffee. The burrs will get clogged with all the oils from the nuts and the bits from the seeds. Stick with a blade grinder for spices.

A: Yes! I just brought mine home today. I use mid-coarse for pour over, but tried the super coarse and it's pefect and uniform. Nice machine!

A: We currently do not have any OXO kitchen electrics that are compatible with voltages in international markets – the documentation included in the packaging of the product states that the warranty is void if the product is used outside of the US and Canada. We do not recommend using this product outside of the US and Canada, nor do we recommend using the product with any type of converter or adaptor. We also do not recommend using a transformer.

A: Hello! Our Conical Burr Coffee Grinder has step by step cleaning instructions located in the manual to help with easy cleaning and maintenance. There are a few removeable parts to this item. However, they are not dishwasher safe and should be handwashed. The manual also includes the cleaning and care instructions for these type of parts. I hope this information is helpful!

A: Hello! For this machine, you can set the time to grind anywhere between 1-30 seconds. If you would like a small amount, you would set the dial to a smaller interval of time. For larger amounts, you would set it for a longer period of time. If set to a shorter amount of time, this should grind around the same amount as a K-Cup. This can also vary depending on the type of beans used. Hope this helps!

I like the ease of the grinder but I wonder if mine is defective as a lot of grinds drop from the grinding hole after use I will have to take a photo next time I use it bc it has gotten much worse. The grind pile I mean is a lot more that drops from the hole.

This grinder is a great deal and unless you're willing to spend upwards of $150+, this is your best option. It uses real canonical burrs and grinds are even. Excellent for pour overs and cold brew, but doesn't grind fine enough for a proper espresso pull.

This is the first one that has actually produced an espresso grind! The metal grind cup keeps static down so coffee doesn't spray every where when you remove the cup. It disassembles easily for through cleaning. It is also one of the quietest grinders I've used.

Were to begin had my coffee grinder for 6 month, worked well for maybe 2 months and then poof got all full of residu and stopped grinding, i cleaned it hoping it would start again and no still not working. Had to buy another one but no not the same one for the price i took a cheaper one and works very well.

I've been using this coffee grinder for over two years, and it's been great. The grind is consistent, and the settings are easy to adjust for whatever size grounds you need. It's not the quietest, but unless you have paper thin walls and neighbors with their beds touching a shared wall with your kitchen, I think you'll be fine. My only complaint is that the painted line showing how many seconds of grinding you're set to wore off quickly, so you need to either paint a marker back on the machine, or just guess what you have it set to.

It's so easy to switch from a coffee maker grind, to a pour over gind, to an espresso grind, to a cold brew grind, and i can set it for as much or as little as i need. I LOVE this machine.
