P. Allen Smith Selection - Dwarf Caladiums Miss Muffet Set of 6 Bulbs - Van Zyverden
About this item
"Bulbs and the like, offer an essential element to a well-appointed garden. Due to the vast range of choice, making the right selection can be a challenge, as they present themselves in a myriad of colors, textures and personalities. Packaged dormant flower bulbs are easy and fun to grow and are much like a buried treasure. I enjoy planting bulbs all over the Garden Home Retreat to find varieties that perform well and have that star quality. I have selected some of my favorites, and am suggesting them, for you to give them a try. I think you will be pleased." P. Allen Smith Caladiums are indigenous to Brazil and neighboring areas of south and central America where they grow in open areas of forests and along river banks. These tender bulbs, which are commercially cultivated in the sub tropics of Florida and Brazil, love and require warmth above anything else but are relatively maintenance free. They are known for their lush contrasting edges, veins and multi-colored tropical foliage even though they produce white flowers. They are best grown grouped in the garden. Growing caladiums from bulbs is easy and with proper care will last for years. Miss Muffet is an elegant dwarf variety that comes from chartreuse leaves with red spots; a combination like no other and very eye catching. Truly one of a kind!
