This is great in coffee and to drink as a sweet snack! As someone else has pointed out there really is nothing in here but organic oats and oat bran. The so called added sugars are not really added. They are just part of the enzymatic breakdown of the carbohydrate components of the oat.
Just got my Pacific oat milk delivered to my front door for free, plus I received the red card discount! So much cheaper than FM and delivered. Regarding the sweetness it's has no added oil and the sweetness is natural as explained below. It's cheap and easy to make yourself if you are concerned about additives...I'm lazy most days and when my coffee is ready this is what goes in. Soooooo good:-)
I really enjoy oat milk as a dairy substitute because it's creamy and has the same consistency as whole milk.
I enjoy this brand for things like coffee drinks or in smoothies because it is rather sweet. It's not my favorite for a "milk and cereal" because it is sweeter than other brands.
This review is in response to the misleading reviews about the "added sugars." The "added sugars" in the Pacific Foods Organic Oat Beverage are naturally occurring. When the oats are processed, natural enzymes are added which break down the carbohydrates to create sugars. These naturally occurring sugars are not refined and are considered equivalent to a grain sweetener. Because of the processing, the company is required to list the naturally occurring sugars are "added sugars." To other reviewers, please do your research before writing false/misleading reviews! The oat milk is naturally sweet and tastes delicious on unsweetened cereal.

The reviews that indicate "no added sugar" are not accurate. There are 17g of added sugar per (1 cup) serving. It would be nice if they added the nutritional facts to the item description (see attached photo). This is not a health beverage, as I was looking for.

Thank you for your feedback. The sugar content in the Organic Oat Beverage is naturally occurring. When the oats are being processed, natural enzymes are added which break down the carbohydrates to create sugars. These sugars are not refined and are considered equivalent to a grain sweetener. Due to FDA labeling laws, we are now required to list the naturally occurring grain sweeteners as added sugar.
Love the Pacific brand of Oat Milk, tastes much better than the other newer brands. Slightly sweet and NO added sugar. This is our go to milk in our house, my kids LOVE it and Target has the best prices on it.
I have been drinking oat milk for years in Europe where it is more readily available and affordable. I was happy to find oat milk that does need to be in the fridge. But I was so disappointed when I received my shipping. 17g of suggar added!!! This is so crazy! Yet the description talks about the natural sweetness of oat... Exactly! Why add sugar? I guess I need to continue buying OATLY. It goes in the fridge thiugh. But no sugar added - just the natural sweetness of oat. I was reticent of buying this brsnd as their "healthy organic" soup has so much salt. Pacific is now banned forever for me.
Pretty good dairy, soy, and nut milk alternative. It was much sweeter than some almond or soy milks which kids would like, but i would prefer it to be a less sweet. I know there is no added sugar, so maybe not much can be done. I was pleased that it was organic and not loaded with weird ingredients. I'm looking forward to trying other brands of oat milk once they make it to the Los Angeles markets.
