I was a little worried about ordering this because enough reviews said it was cheap and dented, but I am so impressed with it. The color is accurate and all the pieces feel heavy and substantial. One heads up. A lot of people said their cabinets were crooked but I think they forget you can adjust the cabinets slightly by clockwise and counterclockwise tweaking some of the bolts in the door hinge. And even more important than that is messing with the pads under each foot of the cabinet. If your shelves look very crooked, it’s likely that the cabinet is over correcting for uneven leg support. And as far as it being dented.. a lot of the time that’s on shipping. I just made sure to inspect each piece before I built it.

This thing is so annoying to put together and then I get towards the end and see that the top of it has a dent in it and the dent is so bad it’s bowing on the inside. She then what, I have to take it a apart and return it because they sent me a defective item?

This piece is STUNNING, I’m obsessed with the finished product. I found it extremely simple to put together, that’s because I’m good at following directions, that’s all it takes. If you’ve ever successfully assembled something using instructions you will be absolutely fine. So if the reviews saying this is difficult to assemble have you on the fence, buy it anyway. The screws on the hinges are for adjustments but I didn’t need them at all, they lined up perfectly with the factory settings. And they are soft close!

The other reviews had me super worried about assembling this, but it wasn’t that bad! The doors were the worst part…here’s the trick I saw someone else share in a review that saved me: Put the hinges on the cabinet first, THEN screw them into the doors. The directions say to do the opposite and it’s impossible to do that way. Also, the hinges have 3 screws that adjust the door up/down, side/side, etc. use them! those will become your best friend. Once it’s assembled, it’s exactly what I wanted! Perfect for my 55” TV.
Quality control just isn't there so its a gamble.

Looks good, but quality control is lacking severely. Doors don’t line up right, scuffs and black marks in various places, little chunk of wood missing. Things you don’t see until you put it together and then your return options are limited to hauling the whole assembled thing back to the store or disassembling it and packaging it back. I already spent enough time assembling it and only to find they skimped on quality control - such a disappointment.

I am so disappointed. This took me hours to put together to end up not even being able to put it together because the item is so poorly made that the screws and holes didn't line up at all. Target was so not helpful with this and just sent me a replacement, which I did not want, so now I have 2 of these horrible tables sitting in my living room to get rid of. And, it also looks so cheap in person. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY.
