Q: Can you use it for hair?
A: Great Question! Palmer's Coconut Oil is a Body Oil that is meant to be used on the body to hydrate, rejuvenates and replenishes skin's moisture and radiance, giving your skin an incredible glow without being greasy or messy. -Hope that helps!
submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 2 years agoBrand expertA: Thanks for your interest in Palmer's! The Coconut Oil Body Oil was developed for use on the body. We'd recommend checking out the Coconut Oil Formula Moisture Boost Hair & Scalp Oil for a hydrating oil specifically for use on the hair to add moisture and shine.

Q: Can you use it to tan?
A: Dear Kylee, thank you for your question. Palmer's can't suggest using ours or any body oil to tan unless it contains an SPF. Our Coconut Oil Body Oil is great after sun exposure, to moisturize your skin, encourage tanning, and prevent peeling. When you're in the sun, exposed to UVA and UVB rays, you need to protect yourself with a good sunscreen.

Q: Does this go on or before lotion?
A: Excellent question, Lizzy! We recommend applying the Coconut Hydrate Body Oil after your lotion to help lock in moisture. You can also mix your lotion and the Body Oil together before applying.

Q: What's the difference between this one and Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil. Just that one is Coconut and the other one Cocoa? And one has a spray and the other one doesn't? Have you tried both? Which one do you recommend?
A: Hi and thank you for your quesiton. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil and our Coconut Formula Body Oil are different blends of oils. If you have extremely dry skin, perhaps the Cocoa Butter would suit you more since it's the most hydrating.
