I agree with some other reviewers. The new formula is not good. Detangling not working. No more wonderful smell. Please make old formula available again!

the new, "improved" formula is watered down.

The previous conditioner was viscous, creamy, and one had the sense that it created a luxurious lather. While the ingredients are still of superior quality, the current, watered-down version is no longer satisfactory, nor will it be recommended to my clients.

This conditioner is remarkable. Just one wash put incredible shine into my hair and so soft! I honestly wish I had known about this product years ago. My hair is as soft as a baby's. Smells great too. I still can't believe how it transformed my hair. This product is a miracle. It's the only thing I will use going forward. My hair looks like I walked out of a salon and that's every day now since I bought this product. Thank you Palmer's!

Miracle Worker

I just wanted to post my review over here since my review lumped the shampoo and conditioner up together instead of keeping them separated. This is gonna sound stupid right off the bat but I'm gonna say it anyway because it's the truth. I have no idea what happened to my hair. I'm not sure if I should say aging was responsible for some of these changes or if it's the products I was using was responsible for the changes. Maybe it was a combination of both. I have very long hair and it's as straight as a board. I'm rather boring with my hair. I use shampoo and conditioner. I don't use a hair dryer, curling iron, straightener, don't dye my hair, etc. My hair was easy to care for when I was growing up. Time passed by and there just got to a point where I noticed a lot of stuff going wrong with my hair. The boar bristle brushes I used to use on my hair seemed to just tangle my hair more. I absolutely dreaded washing my hair because it took so long to get the tangles out of my hair. There were other signs I wasn't fond of. Sulfate shampoos started doing a number on my hair. The hair shedding bothered me to the point where I decided I needed to start trying sulfate free shampoos. That eased up on the shedding problem but I was still having other issues. I hated when I got out of the shower after washing my hair and I notice white flakes (not dandruff) on what should be freshly cleaned hair. I also wasn't fond of how the top of my hair looked greasy basically the day after I washed my hair. Conditioners were also a problem. I'm used to my hair being as shiny as a copper penny and it just didn't look that way for a lot of the conditioners I tried. If it had -cones in it, my hair would usually end up looking dull and waxy looking after it air dryed. So I eventually stopped using cone products but still hadn't quite found anything that my hair really clicked with. Needless to say this all changed when I tried Palmer's products. I beg the company to NEVER change the formula of their products because they truly have a miracle worker on their hands. All of my hair problems went away. Tangles after washing are easier to come through, my hair is shiny as the copper penny, brushing my hair in general doesn't cause more tangles in the long run. I'm able to stretch another day in there when it's time for hair washing because my hair still looks clean instead of looking like I head dove into a bag of potato chips. And the flakes I mentioned are gone. You don't know what a relief it is to see no flakes and know your hair is 100% clean instead of "Look at these flakes. How can you say you washed your hair when it still looks dirty?" And yeah, I honestly was making sure the products were out of my hair before I got out of the shower and I still had problems with other brands. The bottles are of average size. They're not super small but they're not very large either. I think people think that because you have long hair that you go through a whole bottle of shampoo and conditioner in one washing. No. This stuff lasts. I put the shampoo only on my scalp and the conditioner only on the length. And it's not like I'm putting so much on that I go even through half the bottles in one washing. You're really getting a high quality product at a very good price. Thank you so much Palmer's!

I bought this again and received a new formula for detangling. It smells terrible and leaves my hair feeling less moisturized compared to the old formula. Bring back the old one please!

The old formula was magic on my long, fine straight hair. This product is just ok but lacks the detangling qualities of the old version. The smell is not as good either.
