New (bad) diaper design
I bought the Swaddlers size 7 like I always do, and the new design surprised me. the material feels cheap and rough, and instead of the sweet powder smell, they smell strongly of chemicals. The side tabs are short and didn't have any stretch to them now. My toddler has leaked out at least once side of the diaper with every poop since we started this new version (not fun to scrub trousers all the time). I also noticed my toddler is getting a weird rash on the bottom since we started the new box this week - until I read other reviews saying the same, I didn't realize it was related. Parents rely on consistency and quality from their preferred diaper brand, and this is not it. I'm so bummed I already opened two boxes to store them, waste of so much money.

Poor Quality
I personally didn’t like these diapers. I’m a new mom, and I thought I was doing something wrong because my baby would have a mess every time she had a stool. I even changed the diaper size, thinking that might be the issue, even though her weight matched the size I was already using. I switched from Huggies to Pampers, just because I heard that pampers was the number “1” brand and ever since the change, it’s been a mess. Pampers diapers don’t have the upper support that Huggies do, so the poop goes everywhere. Definitely not what I was expecting. This was just my experience, it may be different for other babies.

Terribly leaky redesign
Apparently they’ve redesigned them and they’re awful. My toddler rarely leaked in the previous design but with these he leaks so easily overnight. He’s also started getting a new rash. We’ve used this brand since he was born and now I’m looking into something new.

AWFUL REDESIGN
We’ve been using these diapers since my 9 year old was a newborn. They have been great and I had zero complaints. They were so soft and had the slightest powdery smell. We hardly had any leaks or blowouts with all 4 of our kids. I would have given them an easy 5 star rating. Well the new change is terrible. My 15 month old twins wake up every morning with the absorbent beads all over them. They also wake up covered in pee a lot. They leave weird lint on them. The sides pop open way easier. They have a slight chemical smell and are so soft much thinner and rough. They are comparable to a cheap store brand. I’m shocked at what Pampers thought they could get away with. Both of my twins have had no big issues with diaper rashes but now they have way more rashes. Tonight was my last straw when I took one of their diapers off and he screamed. The sides cut into his creases and he was literally bleeding. I feel so bad putting another one on him but it’s all I have for the night. I have another brand being delivered in the morning. Do better pampers, you just lost a very loyal customer.

Super bummed about the new version. I have used pampers for all 3 kids and never had a problem…until recently. When they changed to the new boxes the quality of the diapers seems to have changed. Both of my kids have had an itchy rash on their butt cheeks, which has never been an issue before. Very disappointed as we have always loved pampers.
