I bought this camera for our honeymoon. We took a cruise and were going snorkeling. I was able to take underwater and regular pictures all week with no problem. Just be sure the lens is dry when you are done in the water so there are no water spots on the pictures. I am very happy with this product....see moreof the reviewer's review

Overall it is a good camera and serves the purpose. The water shots came cleraer than out of water shots which is what I wanted the camera for so it served my purpose. Tends to cloud up after you get out of water which makes cloudy pics but it works great and u would repurchase.

We had purchased and returned one of those polaroid cameras for our granddaughter, and purchased this panasonic lumix and do not regret it. she loved it.
