They wrote smooth but they have a tendency to explode/leak ink

These pens are so cheap but they write soooooooo smoothly! I definitely recommend them!!

Do not buy this pack! Many pens were broken and ink was spilled all over and stained my hand for a couple days when I tried to use one of the pens. After looking at other packs I noticed many other packs of the same brand pen also had various pens that had spilled ink inside package.

No idea what Paper Mate was thinking revamping the classic thin barrel stick pens which were so much easier to hold and wrote far better; this new version writes very spottily and makes faded ink lines and is much more uncomfortable to hold. I absolutely don't recommend them.

The cap is too big to fit on the end!

I use pens at work all day long for important legal documentation. I serve many elderly people who have issues with hand control to write. These pens are a total hit lol. I ended up going BACK and buying 4 more packs because all of my coworkers fell in love with them. Buy them for your office friends and be the new favourite colleague.

pens were good quality for the price but I received a box that was partially opened and drawn on as If someone had pulled one out and tested it.

They are my go to pens (beside the Sharpie pens) and are perfect for college courses!

These are my favorite "cheap" ballpoint pen. They write like a gel pen. They are so smooth and the ink doesn't smear. I love the value for the money. These pens are great for school and home. They don't run out of ink fast, usually I lose them before that happens! I'll continue to buy these.

These pens write soo much. Light weight and soft. So happy I snagged this awesome deal!

20 pens for $1.99 is not a bad deal. However, quality-wise, it is equivalent to those cheap, gray BIC pens. In regard to writing, It is not bold, and there are often gaps of white (where ink failed to cover).

I guess you get what you pay for, cheaply made, not worth it. They barely produce ink, ink is sketchy and dull. Maybe just my pack, bought blue and black. I’ve only tried the blue.
