This item is cheaply made although has a nice look. Target has no phone number for the manufacturer to ask questions when issues arise. They gave the maufacturer name as Ameriwood. I called a phone number and was made to answer if I was over or under 50 or they hang up. I called back and answered the question and they sent me to a medical alert sales person who would not stop talking! I could not talk to anyone at Ameriwood to get help with reassembling the drawer that fell apart!

We apologize for your experience. My best guess is that the retailer gave an incorrect phone number, as this does not sound like our process. Because the body of the desk comes with the drawer preassembled, this is not available as a replacement part and would need to be returned through the retailer, unfortunately.

I really wanted this to work. Sadly, the legs of it are always a little turned in, no matter how much I try to fix them. It’s definitely not a sturdy desk by any means. It kind of wobbles when I’m even moving the mouse and moving my arms to type. The color is great, though (Sonoma oak I think). I think it’s probably best as a entryway decoration or a basic desk that is more for looks.

Verryyyy poor quality. Firstly, the package was damaged upon arrival. Not sturdy at all, and don’t think this will hold up for too long. The bottom of the legs has the raw wood exposed, so may very well scratch wood floors. The pull drawer- I’m honestly scared to open because it feels like it’s going to fall out. Overall, would not recommend.

Just got this desk in the mail and I’ve never seen a cheaper piece of furniture. Cheap particle board with thin, flimsy veneer. I would be shocked if this lasts a year of my 7 year-old daughter using it. What a waste of money. Funniest thing was the little bottle of elmer’s glue they give you for the dowels. They couldn’t even shell out for actual wood glue. You got me this time, Target.

First order arrived damaged from the factory - packaging was undamaged but top had a huge ding. Replacement desk arrived damaged, also from the factory. Significant blemish painted onto the top and also several dings. Do not buy this item

This desk is great for smaller spaces, it did not come damaged AT ALL, very sturdy, and it was so easy to put together. This was exactly what I was looking for to use in my classroom. It was easy to assemble. I didn't realize it came with a drawer and it was nice that it was already put together. It is the perfect size for a few pencils and erasers. Not to big to collect other not needed items. It is level and ready to go.
