1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born - with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
I love this chair! I’m surprised that the other reviews say it’s hard to put together. My husband and I did it together and it took 25 minutes. It was pretty easy. The fabric color is more beigey than what the photo shows. To me, the photo makes it look lighter than it is. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being hard, 5 being super hard), I’d say it’s a 3. It’s a comfortable seat but not super cushy.
Beautiful chair, perfect for a small space and not too complicated to put together.
The fabric is a really nice charcoal gray with a good seemingly durable texture.
We are pretty handy people and can't seem to get the chair level for hardwood floors. On carpet it seems to sit pretty good but even with the leg adjustments it's impossible to get it flat on the floor. I'm afraid we're forced to return it.
These chairs are a great mi century modern addition to an office. Mine are accent chair s- people aren't sitting in them for long periods, but they're good enough for a quick visit. Assembly took me about 1.5 hours on each chair, it was nice that the instructions were written and not just pictures. The Naja end table (also from Target) goes nicely between them.
I loved the look of this chair online, but I was not impressed by this chair once I saw it in person. It took awhile to assemble because you had to hold things in exactly the right way to get the screws to go in. Once it was put together, it did not feel very secure, even after retightening the hex screws. The wood of the arms is lovely, and it looks nice from across the room. The fabric of the chair was very uncomfortable and scratchy, so I would not want to sit in it without long pants. As you can see from the dimensions, it is also pretty short, which ended up looking awkward with the rest of my furniture.
Great chair! We were looking for a fake black leather midcentury chair forever and finally found this one. This is a small chair and fits our apartment really well. It was a little difficult to put together, definitely a 2 person job and the arm rests are lower than I expected but we love it still.
