I never used an acid reducer as a child or young adult, but after several months of heartburn related to my lifestyle choices, it became disruptive and painful to enjoy tomatoes, spice and fruits. Pepcid helped me in one hour and I was able to go through my day and sleep a full night without waking up to drink baking soda. I will take it everyday as long as I have the sour stomach.

One of our dogs has a lot of stomach issues and our vet frequently puts her on these. They work well and the 10mg dosing is what the vet recommends for our little pups size. They are so easy to travel and take along when our dog travels with us. I would absolutely recommend using this in coordination with a vet's treatment. Added bonus of always having this around the house is it is always on hand when my stomach starts acting up!

I love PEPCID AC Original Strength 10mg Tablets and always have a bottle on my nightstand! Not only do I use it, I give it to my dog as well (Vet Prescribed/Approved). It's pretty fast acting and love how convenient it is when you don't want to take a chewable acid reducer.

I bought a box and went through the entire thing, and did not find relief from my heartburn. I'd recommend using a different product as this one is just not strong enough for a bad heartburn day.

Not only is this our go to for the acid in the belly, it also is what helps me from getting deadly hives. Histamine is produced at higher levels in the stomach this helps keep it from surfacing and becoming worse. The other way that is useful is for my pup who has a form of cancer that's histamine induced, was prescribed from her vet. We never go without this stuff in our home. .
