They are small toys, and if your cat is a heavy chew-er they may be a risk. Our cat loves to chase the small acorns and their courdoroy texture holds up to her claws and teeth (she does carry them briefly in her mouth). Mostly they are batted about the floor and scooted under various doors, where we have to rescue them for her. She is a small breed, however, so these toys are 'bigger' her for her than they may be for other cats.

Anticipated toys the size of the mushrooms or larger. Acorns way too small, so I will be returning set (worried about choking hazard).

Please do not give these toys to your cat. They are not safe. My cat ate the stem off the mushroom toy in less than 5 minutes and spent the evening in the veterinary hospital.
