The Boots & Barkley™ Grooming Mitt makes bath time a fun occasion. Use the flexible rubber tooth side for a relaxing massage and wash while removing dead hair and dirt. Flip it over and the unique one-direction fabric removes lint balls and fur from furniture.
Love this product. Easy on the hand and fingers (arthritic) because it does all the work. Really cleaned my dog thoroughly and quickly. Also saved on shampoo as I used about half what I normally use. I put the shampoo on the mitt and distributed all over my big Rottweiler. Excellent product!
Wish I had this years ago! My dog is 12 years old and I’m bummed that I just now started using this. Worked great by really allowing me to lather him up but in a gentle way. He seemed pretty happy, like he was getting a massage! Highly recommend this product.
Love this mitt for good price. Was looking for a bathing aid for 50 lb puppy. With a good soaking and one generous line of puppy shampoo across her back, was able to clean her entirely. Mitt moved suds around nicely and lots of hair off. She liked the massage. Elastic ribbon inside to keep on hand nice. Other side added bonus to get hair off fabric. As usual, go only in one direction at a time.
One star is a generous rating. The idea is cute, but functionally inadequate. The bristles are too far apart to pick up any hair, and instead of staying in the brush the hair would fly into the air or would get put right back on my dog when I brushed him again. When it was able to pick up enough hair it was a hassle to clean. You cannot simply "swipe it clean" like the Q&A suggests, but you have to pick out individual hairs. If not, whatever is left over will just get put back on your pet the next time you use it. In the market for a new dog brush, again.
This works, just not as well as I had hoped. I just adopted a dog and she is shedding her unhealthy coat, so I hoped this would be an easy way of getting all of that excess fur off of her. It picks up a lot, but you have to clean it off or it will stop sticking to the hair and the excess loose hair stays on the dog. I will still use it and hopefully when she isn't shedding as much this will work a little better. This may be better for a dog who doesn't shed so much.
