i watched this as a child also as an adult. I hadn't seen it for many years then a late friend of mine had bought it and I became re introduced to it. I bought it for sentimental reasons . and it also reminds me of my childhood. I watched it for the first time when they use to show the wonderful world of Disney on Sunday nights back in the 1980's. its a sweet tale about a lonesome orphan boy named Pete who's imaginary friend happens to be a dragon who also happens not to be to so imaginary or invisible. along the way Eliot and Pete Eliot who happens to be the dragons name gets Pete into and out of trouble with help of some friends and enemy's along the way. Its a fun musical magical journey for all ages and generations.

Loved this movie as a child and love it still. The blu-ray has amazing colors and you would never guess the movie was originally released in 1977. My kids watched the whole thing and it is now one of their favorites too.
