Q: My lights are set up and the panel has been charging in the 'OFF' position as the instructions suggest for over three days now facing south with plenty of sunlight. Only 3 of the 6 canes light up...

bought 2 sets of these at full price (now they are on sale). One set works fine, but not super bright. The other set worked for 1 night and hasn't worked since. Pain in the butt to have to return these with dirt and mud all over them. Also, the were a nightmare to try and untangle to set up.

I feel pretty disappointed, but I have to return these lights. I bought 2 sets and the first set just isn't staying lit anymore. The panel gets plenty of sun - I live in a sunny part of the country and have the panels facing south/southwest like the directions suggest. The panels get many hours of sunlight a day,

Honestly believe most people who bought this didn’t read directions!! If you slide the button over (not just press it) the lights work as promised! Installed one evening. Allowed a full day of sunshine and just like that, WE HAVE LIGHT! Bought them on sale and very happy with them! Wish they had a bit more spacing between the candy canes but works well along the path right by more door. A great alternative when you don’t want to deal with electrical cords! Buy them and simply read directions!

One strand turns on for about an hour at night, the other doesn't really turn on at all. Will be returning. Also one of my boxes didn't come with any of the stakes to install them. Would not recommend.

Had a set last year that came broken, but still worked. Ordered another set, and after a couple nights won’t turn on. Same position as other set. They are dim as this is a solar panel light set. We use, out of convenience. These are clearly hit or miss and they ain’t anything special to start with. Spend a little more to get a better item.
