The 80' Hue Light Strip by Philips is a flexible and versatile light source. You can shape the strip in nearly any form and use the adhesive tape to attach it to any solid surface. You can integrate it into furniture, in coves, under kitchen cabinets or highlight architectural features with smooth, indirect light. If needed, you can cut this lightstrip to size at the scissor markings.
I bought six bulbs and a strip with the bridge. Everything runs so smooth. So my question is, I cut the strip and now I have an extra piece that fits perfectly for my kitchen. I think all I need is a new connector that came with the package. How can I get that?
Great colors and features! Unbeatable! OneQuestion

I recently bought these lights and love them and the features however I was under the impression that they (the lightstrip) was going to be 80" total and it seems to be just about 6ft (72"). I was wondering if the 80" includes the extension wire attached. Also, if I have ot buy more lightstrips, which product should I purchase to extend my Phillips Hue Lights.
Our home is slowly becoming a Hue Home. We love these products and how well they integrate with Amazon Echo. Most recently purchased these Hue Light Strips for back lighting/bias lighting on our 65” TV and for kitchen under and above cabinet lighting. Love the outcome! Only issue is the lack of flexibility out of the box. Not enough cut locations (they are 13” apart) and no Philips brand splice connectors to reconnect the cut ends. Good news however, there is a third party called Litcessory that sells the needed splice and extension adapters. With those in hand I was able to do the installs. Here are some photos of the finished setup. Love it! Wife loves it too!
