Philips Avent Natural Medium Flow Nipple is designed for babies at least 3 months old and offer a medium flow. These nipples are made of ultra soft, durable silicone, which is odorless, flavorless and BPA free. The nipples can be sterilized in any Philips Avent steam sterilizer, boiled for five minutes, or washed in the dishwasher. A wide breast-shape nipple promotes natural latch-on so you can easily combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The ultra soft nipple mimics the feel of the breast. Our flexible spiral design combined with the comfort petals allow for a natural movement while baby feeds. Unique Airflex vent technology is integrated into the nipple and are designed to reduce colic and discomfort by venting air away from your baby's tummy. For use with Philips Avent Natural bottles. Our baby was doing great with the natural nipples until it was time to switch to the next size. For some reason one package of the #2 nipples I got have two holes and the other package only has one hole which is basically the same flow as the #1... even the packaging shows two holes so why is there only one? Based on the other reviews I’ve read you either have a bunch of defective nipples out there or you need to change your packaging..
I bought some glass Phillips Avent bottles one 4oz and the set of three 8oz I have all stages 1-4 My baby is 2 mos now and she likes the stage 1 but I noticed with the flow of stage 2 even though it’s for 1Mos + is way too fast for her. I will say she is mostly breastfeeding so idk if maybe that’s why she doesn’t like the other stages. I will see in the future with the 3mos stage and 6mos stage ones But overall the glass bottles are the best super easy to clean. the nipples last awhile just don’t use boiling or hot water to remove the milk use cold first then soak them in warm-hot water to clean them or else they will get that milk fog on them.
